Can agents move at all? I did not see any command for that.

Order #350 is used to relocate both political emissaries and agents.

Ugh I mess my orders up every single turn..
getting very very annoying. I think the short turnaround for turns usually has me scrambling to get stuff done and it causes lots of errors.
OR
I don't know why my order doesn't work and it doesn't explain it.
For example:
I wanted to make a standing order 60 310 CH
So wanted my character CH to continually 310 in the city he was in.
But I get this: COULD NOT BE ESTABLISHED AS A NEW STANDING ORDER.
Thats it, no reason WHY it couldn't be established..
Lots of stuff like that. Same with my agents, just says they can't do this or that and no reason why.
Anyway, just rambling.

I'm not sure why that doesn't work as a standing order.
Sorry about the order errors, Tripwire. The game has a very complex order system and it takes lots of practice or a tremendous attention to detail to not make errors every turn. Fun game, but frustrating for many, not just you...

It seems I make mistakes every turn too. Not big ones, but irritating ones like putting in the wrong area. Keep plugging!

Anyone interested in a short-term trade for an artifact in your possession? We would have to do 205/206 orders this turn, and I would want to trade it back to you with the orders for turn 11. Since it would be a short-term (and since I'm poor just coming out of Winter) I would obviously like the price to be low - arrangements can be discussed of course.

Ok ... we are heading into turn 24 and the game is likely getting close to ending. I hope everyone is having/had fun. I certainly am despite getting spanked mightily. I learned somethings as well , which is always good.
That being said I am looking forward to starting another game with my duel friends. For those interested in another game what format would you like to see? Same as last game? A team format with 5 teams of 3 ? An anonymous game where no one knows who's playing who and no contact is allowed? Something else ?
Please post here or PM me so I can gauge interest. If you have not played before but think you might like to give it a try please PM me with your email address and I will send you a lot of useful info including maps, rules, orders, order examples, and a sample turn so you can see what it looks like.
Thanks.

Team game for sure. I think the anonymous thing would likely degenerate, as friends let other friends know who they are playing and they make alliances anyway. Might as well just play a game where you know who your friends are and go from there.
I'd be in!

Ok .. seems our next Alamaze game is going to be 1x a week and the team format , 5 teams of 3 kingdoms each.
After talking to people on Chatzy and email it seems we have 11 committed to our new game. Please let me know here or via PM if you would like to try it.
The teams are:
The Secret Society ...GN/RD/SO
The Guardians of Truth ... AN/RA/DW
The Cult of Chaos .... DA/DE/TR
The Order of Justice ... EL/GI/WA
The Lords of Doom ... BL/UN/WI

A few questions for the team games.
This is a 3x3x3x3 game correct? That means you don't ally with any other 3 member alliance? It should be one for all and all for one type deal correct? If teams are allowed to "ally" with other teams that will suck hard.
How do we determine a winner?
A - If one of your teammates comes in first you all 3 win?
B - Average ending of all 3 of your alliance?
C - Average ending of 2 of your 3?
I vote for no other alliances or help at all outside of your 3 kingdoms. Period. No sneaking back deals, no emails no BS.
I also vote for C above and here is why.
If we go with A all a team has to do is decide which of the 3 they want to win or get the SVC and pump all their resourses into that 1 kingdom and care ntohing about their own rank. So you could end it with 1 kingdoms at #1 and the others last and next to last and still win? I don't like that scenario at all.
B is ok but if you have someone drop your team is doomed from the start. That is why I like the C option. YOur team has to get as many as it can to the top of the ranks. So if you have #1 #5 and #10. The team with #2, #3 and #4 will beat you.

Our first all Duel2 Alamaze game has come to a close after 33 exciting turns. I'd like to thank everyone that tried it out. I hope everyone liked it and enjoyed playing as much as I did.
Our first place winner and $80 richer is Tripwire , playing the Troll Empire.
Grats Trip!!! Well played sir.
Our second place finisher was TDO , playing the Witchlord. He gets $50 , which he is already cashing in for team sheets. No Grail for you !!!!
Our third place finisher was Hawk. He played the Ancient Ones. Hawk will be getting $20 for his game well played.
Now that we have that out of the way I'd like to let everyone know we are going to start another game. It will be a team format with 5 teams of 3 Kingdoms each.
The teams are:
The Secret Society ...GN/RD/SO
The Guardians of Truth ... AN/RA/DW
The Cult of Chaos .... DA/DE/TR
The Order of Justice ... EL/GI/WA
The Lords of Doom ... BL/UN/WI
I am still working on scoring/how we determine a winning team. I liked Tripwire's idea of using the average team finish for all 3 team members to determine a team winner (I also like his idea of no help/diplomacy outside your own team). We will also have of course an individual winner as well. Does anyone else have ideas or suggestions as to how to structure this?
I have talked to a bunch of you on Chatzy and via email about playing. Here is a tentative list so far : Tripwire , Hawk , Daikkan , Stillgard , Otto X , Nitnux , Howlin Wolf , TDO , Kulvac , D Noble , Floyd , OAB and Feach.
We have one maybe in Grimm. So looks like we would be looking for 2 more players if anyone else is interested.
I am looking to get this started relatively soon , possibly 2 weeks or so. Also the folks at Alamaze are going to give us another free setup. So thats $8 saved right there.

FYI everyone - the team setup means that you will be allied with experienced players right off which will really help your learning curve a lot. Last game we were all pretty clueless and made a ton of mistakes, which were frutrating and in some cases crippling. So you'll have a built in support system.
Our first Alamaze game was fun - it was a good time and gives you something to do while in between DM turns.
