I was wondering if we were due for an April Fool's tourney this time rather than Death and Taxes myself. Difference is the 15th-ish and the 1st-ish. |

2009 was April Fool's tourney. 2008 was B.A.D.D.
You can view the previous tourney announcements here:
Spring Mail-in 2009 (they use 2008 multiple times, but its 2009)

Tempe 2014 is fast approaching, and we haven't heard what the prize is.
For reference, the prizes that have been offered since this thread first started:
April 2010 - Super Team
July 2010 - +1 Bonus Potions
October 2010 - Frankenstein
January 2011 - +1 Bonus Potions
April 2011 - Team Stat-Swap
July 2011 - Max Damage
October 2011 - Res/Immortality
January 2012 - Max Damage
April 2012 - Clone/Twin
July 2012 - Ambi
October 2012 - Zombie Potion
January 2013 - 10 skills
April 2013 - DYO
July 2013 - 10 skills
October 2013 - Res/Immortality
Any new or old ideas? |

I don't know if it'd be possible, but how 'bout re-rolling an existing fighter? We've all had those rollups with godling numbers, that just got straight mode and ended up average. You'd choose your guy, then he'd be re-rolled 10x and you'd get to pick the best. Then whatever bonuses that rollup got would be applied to the existing fighter. Either staying at his current record, or starting life over at 0-0-0.
Or just plain reincarnation, let you pick one fighter to start his career over, with or without a re-roll. (If only I could be 18 again!). Actually, this is not a bad idea for next year's Dead tourney! hint hint |

Assur's prize suggestion #9!

RSI provided 25 team roll-ups, you could pick 5 warriors from any team roll-up to put on one team (either those provided or others that you owned/purchased). Each warrior was then rolled up 5 times each and you could pick the version that you wanted by examining the full overviews for bonuses and physical rolls.
Wasn't a popular prize for some managers, as the results could be replicated somewhat just by purchasing a ton of team roll-ups, but a few Super Team warriors have gone on to TC. I personally wouldn't mind winning this prize. |

Ahhh..Okay. I guess I missed that one. that would be great, if I won.
But I see too many people getting upset fighting a team of size 3, double 21 stat warriors. |

I have always thought something "special" should be done at Faces.
(To stimulate more attendance)
This should be done Sunday, just after reading the TC winner.
A random drawing - one for each class - all warrior entrants
The warrior drawn may not have TV/TC that tourney (gets redrawn if such)
The warrior gets choice of
if died - ressurected
if alive - immortality OR choice of 3 skills (cannot exceed normal) |

I like the re-roll a warrior idea that Buri had... Maybe 5 rerolls to be used on one or more warriors as desired? Also I'd like 3 potions of 'learn favorites' to be used on natural warriors only or something like that. |

Maybe the reroll can be done selectively? Or reroll and take the 'better' of the two rolls. |

As long as no warriors created via TC prizes allowed. Too broken to allow a TC prize godling DYO type re-rolled 10x and basically "reset" at 0 FE. |

New (and Old) ideas:
Simulacrum Prize -- Create 4 additional copies of one of your (un-prize modified Rookie) warrior--one at 4, 10, 20 and 30 FE. The warriors are destroyed/deleted after one year or upon a graduation notice.
Prismatic Prize: Take one RU, roll it up 10x, one of each style. You get to keep 5. (Or 3 or whatever balanced number) Can also be used as a DYO with a Twist.
Learn/Train/FE Swap -- Switch learns/trains/FE between any two warriors--but they must be used on two warriors who are in the same tournament class.
Reincarnation/Ultron -- Resurrection prize, but your warrior comes back Resurrected slightly "Stronger" with enhanced bonuses. (Like +1 across the board unless it's out of bounds) Limit one use per career. Maybe save this one for an October one day.
Lunging/Bashing/Slashing/Parrying Weapons Prize Package: You receive one potion for each weapon that allows you to change a favorite warriors' weapon to that type. For example, if you choose Lunging, you could get 5 potions one for SS, LS, EP, LO, SH that allowed you to change one warrior to that type. (You would get FI as part of Bashing, but everything else would be crap) |

More ideas .......
Dow Jones Prize - $250 in RSI account
Strongman Award - 2 potions allowing auto "temporarily fight at one level higher damage-doing" - may be used in a tournament for all rounds; may use both potions to fight at two levels higher
Died-and-gone-to-Heaven Prize - 3 potions, may use only as a replacement for a replacement rollup - DYO, with limitations of only one 21 allowed on the design
Transfusion Prize - Three free entries into Bloodgames, with three rollups to pick from for each team. |
