The ADM Freeze is scheduled to occur on the weekend of March 1st and 2nd. That's the plan as relayed to an inquiring player over email.
I doubt we'll be able to get minis prior to the next DM-100 and DM-102 turns (due March 3rd and 4th), but if all goes as planned, those turns will be post-freeze.
This has been a public service announcement. |

Thanks guys. I guess I will fill out my tourney turn sheets and send them. now. I thought last year was a Death and Taxes, so this year should be a Fools Tournament. |

The ADM Freeze occurred as scheduled. Electronic minis are available upon request, and paper minis have gone out with this latest round of arenas.
No word yet on the prize or when we might see an announcement. Surely any day now! |

That got a chuckle from men Gentleben.
You know Lee and Sandy have already figured out what the prize will be. They are just making us squirm. lol |

Latest word from the powers that be:
- the tourney announcement should be arriving this week
- the prize will be something that has been offered before
The current best guess by the brain trust on Chatzy is "3 potions of stat-switch". But we'll see! |

I would love to win that! I have a couple of people who could use three stats switched around. |

Well I'd assume they'd only be useable on new rollups. That, and they'd be far more efficient when used on 3 different rollups. |

If that is the case, it will be a waste. Don't they have a six month limit on prizes? What if you don't get a roll up that can use the stat change in that time.
Using it on three different warriors might be a bit of a waste as well. Why shuffle only one number when you can do three and make a completely new warrior? |

The last time stat-switch potions were offered, they were able to rearrange all the numbers on a single new replacement roll-up or single warrior on a team roll-up, prior to adding the 14 points.
It turns out to be quite easy to find new warriors capable of being turned into 21-21s.
Edit - the prize description from the last time this was offered can be found here: http://www.reality.com/fftour43.pdf |

That isn't that amazing. Sorry, I don't get roll ups that could ever be worth this prize. Not that I would win one anyway. |

You are certainly entitled to your opinion, however much it defies conventional wisdom.
Keep in mind that we won't know what the prize is for the April Mail-in until someone gets an announcement sometime this week. 3 Potions of Stat-switch is pure speculation on our part.
That said, here are my last 12 replacements:
8-3-15-10-14-15-5
13-4-9-11-14-13-6
3-13-10-12-11-11-10
9-9-12-9-12-5-14
9-5-14-9-12-15-6
13-6-18-7-9-12-5
17-4-9-14-4-17-5
17-8-7-15-10-10-3
7-9-14-10-12-12-6
9-9-10-7-4-17-14
8-12-14-13-8-5-10
3 of those 12 (#1, #7, and #8) can be turned into double-21s with a stat-switch potion.
for example:
8-3-15-10-14-15-5 --> 14-8-3-15-15-5-10 --> 15-8-3-21-21-5-11 WS
17-4-9-14-4-17-5 --> 14-4-4-17-17-5-9 --> 17-4-4-21-21-6-11 ST
17-8-7-15-10-10-3 --> 10-8-7-17-15-3-10 --> 12-8-7-21-21-4-11 LU
Even assuming a bad run of replacements for six months, I have no doubt that a micro-manager who won could find a manager willing to contribute otherwise useless team roll-ups that could create 21-21s using this prize. |

Yeah, many of us have stacks of useless roll-up sheets that would have dozens of good candidates. Many also offer them to other players for free. Just take that last rollup I posted here, 12-16-8-16-6-3-9, switch CN and WL, and you get 12-6-8-16-16-3-9 which makes a 12-6-8-21-21-3-11 whatever, with 2 points left over for taste. |
