Been helping an old friend and D2 cohort look through his minis for the first time in years and came across an old AB of his that has 'kick' designated as his favorite weapon in ADM.

Anyone have experience with this? Is it still relevant or active? Doesn't seem you can get it anymore I imagine, but I'm curious if anyone has any speculation as to whether it was different in any way from fist or open hand, or whatever random musings the community might have.

Thanks!

Is it possible it means he is the same as a Fist fave by means of being "unarmed" as a favorite?!? Just thinking out loud.

I have seen a kick fave on a really old striker. I can't find the sheet that has that printed.

P.S. What arena was the kicker from?

I have a kick fave AB from way back in the day. Have been running him in 103 for a little while now. Do not believe it is given out any more. I am sure that it is the same as fist fave, not based on any data, just that I doubt they coded in anything different.

I actually requested kick via a faves potion one time to see what happened and ended up with fist. So I believe it no longer exists as an option, though old warriors can have it, of course.

Same here tDO - it is no longer available.
The fist kicks with the best of 'em.

Hi Otto, thanks for the comment. It is an AB that Yorick/Chazz F. had from way back when in Solven, probably graduated in like 1988.

Elephant had a striker a long time ago (late 80's) with kick fave, but after not playing for years, then coming back and getting his mini's, the same striker now has dagger. Sad

I was told you could actually request it as a fave last time I ask.

However, it was removed so long ago that the ladies do not think that Fist Bonuses your warriors get would also apply to Kick. (So it would be a use at your own risk type of potion)

It's probably some legacy code in there that was removed from the fight program but left in the warrior-generation program, so you could get it as a favorite but never use it.
