KGGP had 240 going into this round. Also we should have 82 points for this turn

You should have had a hundred, but ,,,,, Wink

The final scoring will be fixed/corrected when resolved/agreed.

I don't suppose you want to hear about a computer's ability to do complex and simple scoring faster and more accurately than a person. I do commend you for your time and effort put into this, but I let my computer do as much of that menial work as I can convince it to do (subject to my own laziness in giving the instructions)

The scoring counterbalance system is set up with one computer driven/assisted and one manual driven with the intent to assure accuracy upon comparison. For the last several years, one using the Binary Assur model and one using the pencil & Paper Model have resulted is correction errors on both sides. (Mostly due to input - GIGO) As far as speed, it is probably 50/50 as to which completes the initial task first.

So, patience is a virtue, participants.

Patients may be a virtue but redundancy is a sign of senility Wink

Read 'em and weep as The Coordinators post the round 5 scores ........
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

TWIX Rnd 5
Half Way Home

Yup, the coordinators are yet far underpaid and had to take second jobs preaching and consulting to pay the bills. How about we all chip in and give them some help? Send two rollup certs to Sandy – attention DM47 Turf War Help Fund and she will see that they go to the right needy coordinators. OK?
Because of the financial inequities, the TWIX reports will remain sort of short and sweet. Perhaps they will become longer when Oz returns from the hot dungeons of El Paso and environs? Perhaps?
Important things to know ……………………………………………………………
Best Alliance w/l was tied at 13-7 by DOS and IC; sorry; no points
Best Team w/l at 5-0 (WOWSER!) was by D.A. Rejects; 5 points
Certain points double up for the last half of TWIX, starting with round 6. (Read the rules.)
And for the Alliance scores and standings through five rounds:
Round = IC 78, DOS 66, KGGP 59, SMOC 54, LBS 53, MMBO 45, GSVOP 44, NW 25
STANDINGS THROUGH FIVE

KGGP 302
IC 299
LBA 291
SMOC 282
MMBO 253
DOS 213
GSVOP 197
NW 133
And best of wishes for all your warriors at The Face in Chicago. May the best TWIXers win.
