Due to a lack of response from my potential partner, I'm going to have to announce my pulling out of TOGS... the only thing I see changing that is my partners return to DuelII life.
Sorry bout that Travis... I guess if someone is wanting to send cash, you can apply my certs to that person and I can take the cash.... or however you do refunds...
I'll be watching on the outside, and working to be ready for the next TOGS... a year might help in the writing... it was working for a while and I've now got writer's block...

Well, I hope you'll reconsider and look for another partner. I'll also shoot you an email.

I'm still in, though I still need to get my note to RSI providing our hostes with the required roll-ups for entry, I havn't forgotten just not alot of time right now.
Dilligaf Legion is hanging rough right now, those that I had high hopes on came back mildly cursed so I've had to clean house and my first 0-4 really hurt me. Luckily I started before the official start and I've got a couple turns worth of spotlights ready to go.
Not sure who it was that gave me props in the newsletter, but don't get your hopes up, A winless TOGS isn't out of my realm of possibilities, I'll be writting my butt off though.
What are the perks of getting a head start and going with the flow before the mailer?

You would be on the rankings and able to challenge the first turn of the TOGS and a couple skills under your belt. But, I think it makes more sense to have another turn or two to DA if you need to and fight in Rookies instead of 2 FE Apprentices or no tourney at all.

Street Legal and Ghoti declare themselves a team for TOGS
I know it is a bit late to get it into the ads for Aradi but I will try

Good to see you back. I've got the announcement of your team. Please make sure that both of you contact RSI and have them send two gift certificates for a team setup per manager to me or mail a check to the address I listed in the announcement. I need these before the start of the TOGS.
Thanks, and welcome back.

Recap of where I think we are on teams. I will continue to update this on a regular basis over the next two weeks as anything changes. First, the managers and teams that I'm pretty sure are in:
- Lady Elysian / A-Sop
Aradi Resort & Spa / Bugs, Slugs & Thugs
- Samwise the Bald / Mannequin
Childhood Trauma / Bikini Bottom
- Soultaker / Death Stud
Goin' Tubin' / Death Studs VII
- Lord Xiang / Seraphim
AARP / Dilligaf Legion
- Ultraist / Jekyll
Elements of Power / Medical Biohazard
- The Creepster / Manager
Crazy Creeps / Superior Forces 16
- Hombre / Ganolus Oakleaf
The Bizzle / Silent Warriors
- Rillion / Rascally Rabbit
Demons of Darkness / Saab Story
- Nuln / Snotman
4000 Blows / Wild Cards
- Farmer boB / Mission
Cheer-O-Kee's / The Misguided
- Indimar Fallon / Cyber Punk
Wing Hove / Atlas Park
- Street Legal / Ghoti
My Best Buds 2 / Ogres Are Us
Managers that I had thought might be entering for whatever reason, but from which I have heard nothing and received nothing:
If you are wanting to participate and haven't contacted me and sent your TOGS entry, please get ahold of me ASAP at sentinel at cruzio dot com to make arrangements.
Remember that the first turn of the TOGS will run immediately following the Mail-In tournament and is due 4/20. Let the fun begin.

Did you mean Superior Forces 1601 (team # 586)? I just wanted to make sure, and that there was an actual Superior Forces 16 that was going to pop in turn 388.

Yeah, it got cut off on the team rankings.

Hmmmmm, and your point was?
BTW, this post was almost as amusing as the last. (Our grandmothers always said that two posts were better than one. )

I'm not quite sure what you're saying about your grandmothers (I'm sure Death Stud will catch any inferences), but I'm glad you enjoyed each post equally. Sometime's we of the 56k modem variety have troubles with our connections.
Oh, and the point was: I just wanted to make sure it was a typo. And it never hurts to harass your opponents before the TOGS begins.

Now I'm upset that I didn't think of the ol' bait and switch tactic myself!
