Below are the team totals for the first turn. Because this site won't let you post in a fixed width font, I can't post anything else that will be in any sort of readable format, so you'll have to wait for the newsletter for that.

Please let me know if I've made a mistake anywhere in here and I'll be happy to fix it if so. Both Tigtoad and Jekyll who had stuff sent into RSI on time that never made it have both been given credit since they did their part. There were two managers who didn't get spotlight credit. Dmob didn't get his stuff in and Mission's spotlight was woefully too short. Farmer boB, you gots to whip your partner into shape there. Also, a reminder that if you are writing a spot with lots of short dialog and/or prose that doesn't take up a full line, please be sure to add some extra length beyond just the minimum. If I think someone's abusing this to circumvent the length requirement, I may have to start dinging them point and I don't want to do that.

Several teams had vey good showings this turn and will bear watching. I noticed that one manager ridiculously challenged a warrior outside the TOGS. This is bad because you get NO points if you challenge outside the contest or get challenged by anyone outside the contest. That manager was me, and exactly WHAT the hell was I thinking? Stupid.

T388 TOGS totals
------- ------- -------------------
69 - TEAM 7 - HOMBRE / GANOLUS OAKLEAF
67 - TEAM 9 - NULN / SNOTMAN
62 - TEAM 3 - SOULTAKER / DEATH STUD
56 - TEAM 8 - RILLION / RASCALLY RABBIT
52 - TEAM 2 - SAMWISE THE BALD / MANNEQUIN
42 - TEAM 11 - INDIMAR / CYBER PUNK
39 - TEAM 12 - STREET LEGAL / GHOTI
36 - TEAM 10 - FARMER BOB / MISSION
35 - TEAM 4 - LORD XIANG / SERAPHIM
32 - TEAM 13 - TUM / LHI
28 - TEAM 1 - LADY ELYSIAN / A-SOP
28 - TEAM 6 - THE CREEPSTER / MANAGER
25 - TEAM 14 - TIGTOAD / DMOBSTER
24 - TEAM 5 - ULTRAIST / JEKYLL

I think as of my last posting, there were still some questions as to the team names of the last entrants, so here is the final and complete list.

- Lady Elysian / A-Sop
Aradi Resort & Spa / Bugs, Slugs & Thugs

- Samwise the Bald / Mannequin
Childhood Trauma / Bikini Bottom

- Soultaker / Death Stud
Goin' Tubin' / Death Studs VII

- Lord Xiang / Seraphim
AARP / Dilligaf Legion

- Ultraist / Jekyll
Elements of Power / Medical Biohazard

- The Creepster / Manager
Crazy Creeps / Superior Forces 1601

- Hombre / Ganolus Oakleaf
The Bizzle / Silent Warriors

- Rillion / Rascally Rabbit
Demons of Darkness / Saab Story

- Nuln / Snotman
4000 Blows / Wild Cards

- Farmer boB / Mission
Cheer-O-Kee's / The Misguided

- Indimar Fallon / Cyber Punk
Wing Hove / Atlas Park

- Street Legal / Ghoti
My Best Buds 2 / Ogres Are Us

- TUM / LHI
Things I'll Never Get / Inquisition SG-1

- Dmobster / Tigtoad
Thirsty Thugs / Dark Toads

Good luck to all next turn and more detailed information will be in the newsletter.

The 3 FONZ teams opened up at 1-2-3? How humiliating for the rest of us!

Bah! I must say that falling to the middle of the pack early isn't a good sign. Well, we must do better, Seraphim! Next time you take the competion drinking, the idea is not to get drunk yourself! You're supposed to let THEM deal with the hangovers. Wink Save our debauchery until after the contest. Twisted Evil

Actually, if you look at thier teams, the FONZ is overly distributed. Means they are easy marks. Better to creep up on them. They always lose in the end.. so this is an end game.. It will be someone besides FONZ.. that is the tradition you know.

I dont think they will be harmed by drinking episodes. Word has it they are never sober anyway.

Ghoti -- speaking as if he has actually researched this.

I think after their showing at the mail-in, Team 2 is the team to beat.

With at least 4 TV challenges between them, I have to agree. I see they did lose one of those TV's already.. Wasnt it Liver of Childhood Trauma Being killed by Porn Star of Bikini Bottom? They are killing each other off on that team.. Everyone just leave em alone and thier fighting methods will take care of them themselves.

Seems they had some 3 kills on the first turrn of TOGS.. Not a good sign for them.. Looks like they will eliminate themselves for sure. Hope the Bloodfeuds are kind if they want to continue.

In fact I see both of the TC's managed a first TOGS turn kill They may be short lived.

Ahh...but the kill Mannequin had was against me, and I'll not bloodfeud. And, the other kill was pre-TOGS against a non-alliance mate, so that probably won't be followed up, either.

Of course, if I match up with Mannequin too many more times, I won't have a team to field. Wink

And, to think, I gave him that team...

Hopefully they'll beat each other for us! Plus they drew Team number 2. Team 2 has to be one of the most successful Togs team numbers.\

Yep. Especially near the end of a TOGS they will go all out to make sure a FONZ team wins it.

Yeah, you know us. We're all about being organized and coordinated and stuff. We never have an actual "plan" and very rarely communicate even about who we are going to challenge. It's not our fault that you fell on your face with the legendary 0-10 in the final turn.

Can I petition or make a trade for team 13 instead of 12? I think that's what'll hold me back Laughing

Ah well a good solid 7th place start is OK by me.

BTW

Manager- Is it to late to drop a Sawbuck on my team at 200 to 1? I could use the 2-grand right about now, and I always compete better with money on the line Cool Question

Does this mean people have received newsletters for the mail-in? Cause I haven't.

Btw, after two years of seeing LHI's name on the message boards, I just put two and two together and figured out what it stands for.

I think the censors went to sleep..... I about spewed my Coke when I saw the warrior NULN'S NUTSACK in my newsletter! I understand it has some sort of history in Aradi but I was still surprised that it got by the thought police!
