Well team 2 proves why it is the favorite with a very strong that I suspect will vault them into first place.

Team proved why they have no chance as RR missed the turn and I end up getting no challenges through and get pegged for being the avoider for the turn (I almost thought my strats must not have gotten there since I didn't get any challenges, including my TV challenge, through).

Seraphim and I did well enough, I believe, to move up the ranks a couple positions. Some more strong showings like this and we could be in the top 5 or 6 in the next couple turns. Then again, we could wind up on the bottom just as fast. Confused

Well you would have some strong competition for last if Death Stud were not carrying Soultaker. I guess Soultaker has decided to get revenge on him for the whole Turf War thing by sabatoging their TOGS team.

LOL. That would be awesome! Wink

Hey Billy Ray, nice challenge! Just read the fight and it's a great read. Note to self: do at least one avoid for AARP...

Not great by any stretch, but slightly better than average so far. It looks like I'm going to have to do some house cleaning though. Unfortunately my 15 wit warriors havn't learned a skill in ages. Luckily Hillary was cleaned out for me but I'm gonna have to toss clinton as well I think. We'll see after one more fight.

Foolish Death Stud! I wisely decided to not let Creepster do the same thing to me by sabotoging him first!

Hey Rillion, what happened to your partner? I wasted some perfectly good challenges on him and I'd like to know if he's planning on running turn 3. Wink

Told you. Aragorn will be sorry, too. Hopefully he is at least checking out the newsletters on-line and lamenting his own absence.

Amazingly my spotlights (twice actually) and personal ads made it in, but somehow my turns didn't???

Yes Nulnsey I plan on running, don't have a clue what happened to my turns. Glad to here that my mis-fortune at least spoiled some of your plans Very Happy

Rankings after two turns of the TOGS is complete. Samwise and Mannequin come roaring into first with 71 fight points this turn (excluding spots, personals, etc) and a very strong second of 45 fight points by Nuln/Snotman places them in second overall. I'm liking the top 4 so far (flashes cool ass FONZ gang hand sign).

Because this is a forum for gentlemanly behavior and courtesy, I'll refrain from making public mention of Rascally Rabbit missing the turn altogether, Soultaker's flaming 0-5 turn or Manager's 0-5 with a paltry 11 fight points for their whole team this turn. I would never think of calling out Ultraist and Jekyll for a zero point turn on the sands this turn with an 0-9 combined and an overall 2-18 record. That just wouldn't be nice <grin>. I'm sure karma will strike me appropriately next turn now...

T389 TOGS totals
---------------------------------------------------
133 - TEAM 2 - SAMWISE THE BALD / MANNEQUIN
122 - TEAM 9 - NULN / SNOTMAN
120 - TEAM 7 - HOMBRE / GANOLUS OAKLEAF
103 - TEAM 3 - SOULTAKER / DEATH STUD
93 - TEAM 11 - INDIMAR / CYBER PUNK
87 - TEAM 4 - LORD XIANG / SERAPHIM
87 - TEAM 12 - STREET LEGAL / GHOTI
86 - TEAM 8 - RILLION / RASCALLY RABBIT
80 - TEAM 13 - TUM / LHI
67 - TEAM 10 - FARMER BOB / MISSION
66 - TEAM 1 - LADY ELYSIAN / A-SOP
60 - TEAM 14 - TIGTOAD / DMOBSTER
49 - TEAM 6 - THE CREEPSTER / MANAGER
34 - TEAM 5 - ULTRAIST / JEKYLL

There were a few challenges into the TOGS this turn that I really hope we can avoid in the future. If anyone knows JE mgr. of Rescue Rangers, please explain the situation and ask him to respect the contest. I think he's on these boards and I'll also try to get ahold of him. Hopefully this was an honest mistake and won't require any sort of intervention.

Two turns down, eleven to go.

Hey, man; take it! It was an improvement over my partner's 0-5!
(But thanks for the thought. Wink )
