The DA turn for this event is scheduled for November 25th. Where every team has to DA the whole stable on this turn to be qualified to enter the event.

Well the due date for this is just over a month, with 3 turns till D-Day (counting the turn run after the tourney and counting the DA turn itself) and I have heard and read no progress as to official team assignments.

Has this been replaced by the Turf War?

GOOD QUESTION!!!!!!!

Have the Andorians already won by default?
Are the Freebies and the Holmers able to field a team of 5+?

What is THE STATUS?

<shakes head> There you go again. And we wonder why there will always be tension between both groups? Cool Wink

A little tension can be of value at times. What we really need is a lot of competition to keep the Andorians from running away with it! Wink

Heh heh... This is great. I can just sit back and let the Consortium do all the razzing of the 'Larqs.

That's okay. I have more respect for him since he's partially 'Larq! Wink

Dude, do you think I'm too dense to pick up your backwater humor? To put it simply, I take anything out of your mouth as a joke! Shocked Laughing Razz

Being respectively 'Larq and Andorian though, you can pretty much apply that both ways. Wink

It kinda looks like thanks to the "peace efforts" of Sentinel,LHI, and Soultaker war may be averted as nobody wants to fight each other Laughing Aragorn just pulled out recently and the only Diplo declarations I got were from Azaziel and he said the manager of Steel and Silk from Aruak wanted to fight Andorian. So that makes like 11 vs. 4 vs. 4 .

That said unless we can rearrange some Andorians, I'll move for sure, I may have to call this QUICK to let everyone (at least Azaziel and friend) know that it's off.

I'll run it with the same attention small as large, in fact it'd be easier smaller, if everyone still wants to go. Otherwise we may just need to let Tobir die (and Street can settle down in a peaceful land with no town to duel in. After 6+ years with never more than 5 active teams it should be time Cool ) Exclamation

We will compete with as low as five each if RSI allows.

As Manager predicted early on, The Andorians are simply too strong and there are not enough Larqs or Freebies out there with the willingness to take on a big up-hill challenge.

Does that mean our Captain gets the prizes?

I'll rock with 4 player on the Larq side. It'd be funny when all the Andorians warriors start dying and they start claiming downchallanges and huge FE differences are the reason that happened, and that it was unhonorable....even though all the warriors will be starting on the same level. Smile j/k

I'm already slotted for the Freebie side with Carnage, so we're ready to take you all on. Bring it!

We just want to make two points about this.

(a) We will be very disappointed if this does not "come off". This is an event that is needed and would probably stimulate more discussion/roleplaying/competitiveness between nations. If this one does not occur, the likelihood is that in the near future someone (maybe us - if necessary - but preferably not) will try to pull it together again.

(b) In case anyone reads the post and implies it is all Sentinel/Soultaker/LHI fault that this event does not occur, that would be quite unfair/inappropriate. The inability to reach accord, the bickering over location/rules, the blow ups and personal scathings .... that may have tainted this event - are all the fault of many of us.. Calling out three directly is misleading - and, indeed, disheartening.

That said, when this Civil War event finally does occur, nothing is going to change the fact that the Andorians will dominate.

I believe that this is a dead issue. There are those who need to take more fault than others, but overall, the Consortium is correct. It's everyones fault in general. Our alliance has talked about it, and it seems there is currently more interest in running in the Turf War instead of the Civil War.

I agree this could have been a HUGE boost to the basic game, and sadly, it'll have to wait for a while. At least from the look of it.
