Can we get one of the historians (no mater how small or large) to post the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of all the past TOGS? The only thing we are sure of is that Manager won the first and Stud/Sentinel are going for a threepeat. (At least that is what they all TELL us!)

Studly? Nulnlicker? Pony tail Guy?
Question Question Question Question

We think ALL would really like to know this.

I had that list compiled somewhere and couldn't find it this morning when I looked. Will try to find it. Nag me again in a couple weeks if I don't post anything, RL has been a bit of a zoo.

See, everyone just remembers who won the first TOGS! I am the Kelly Clarkson of of TOGS!!!

TOGS I:
1. Manager/Miles
2. Soultaker/Creepster
3. Don't remember but they were way back (Father's team I think)

TOGS II:
1. Wimpy/DeGotti/Destitute Noble
2. The Boviphiliac Team (Nuln/Snotman/Bob?)
3. Manager/Ivy/LHI (I think--we were 3rd through most of the contest but might have dropped back on the last turn)

(Rillion comes up with multiplier idea, vows to win TOGS III)
http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/duel/message/9326

TOGS III
1. Hombre/Ganolus
2. *
3. *
* Who knows? Huge controversy at the end with Jester switching teams on the last turn and everyone debating whether or not the points should count. Hombre and Ganolus won going away anyway and we all know what the multipliers did to Rillion and TGG's team on the last turn.

TOGS IV:
1. Death Stud/Soultaker
2. Shadowgate/Yukon
3. Manager (as Rage Man)/DeGotti

(7 points between 1st and 3rd)

TOGS V:
1. Death Stud/Soultaker
2. Manager/Creepster
3. Nuln/Snotman

For TOGS III, 2nd place went to Soultaker / Death Stud and 3rd place was Samwise and Rascally Rabbit. Thus, assuming Manager's information above is correct, the complete list would be:

TOGS I:
1. Manager/Miles
2. Soultaker/Creepster
3. Don't remember but they were way back

TOGS II:
1. Wimpy/DeGotti/Destitute Noble
2. The Boviphiliac Team (Nuln/Snotman/Bob?)

TOGS IV:

3. Manager (as Rage Man)/DeGotti

TOGS V:
1. Death Stud/Soultaker
2. Manager/Creepster
3. Nuln/Snotman

This must have been the controversy ladden TOGS then because I remember a few other "episodes" that went on during the course of this one. This was my first TOGS, so I remember it well. These events are in no way chronological.

***Manager's Superior Forces team scores his first kill (not exactly sure how many fights he has gone without a single kill to blemish his record, but it was an admirable number). He feels the magic is gone and asks everyone's feelings on brining in a new team. Many oppose it and get very vocal about it.

***Doesn't Rascally Rabbit get busted for submitting old style articles as TOGS spotlights in this one?

***And, my favorite first-time TOGS memory--Rillion sends an angry, drunken e-mail to Lady Lerch for challenging into the contest. People are upset, though I was thoroughly amused.

Wasn't this the one where Mordraith also submitted papers he wrote while in college for his spots?

For only entering the contest 2 times, I am averaging a nice 2nd place finish! Razz

Yeah, but it looks like if you want to have any chance of winning the TOGS, Soultaker needs to be in the equation.

That sucking sound was all the air in the room being immediately sucked out by Soultaker's inflating ego. I tend to think it's that he picks good partners...

Craig and I are still trying to find out how we could have possibly lost that first one?

His judgment has apparently increased over time whilst Manager's has apparently decreased...
