Since most would agree that an arena full of bashers is a bad thing, then an arena with only a few must be a good thing. Therefore, this was a very celebratory turn in the old Stomping Grounds!

Now that Narcoleptic Guard and I can challenge each other, let me know if he's up for the no armor/weapons fist fight next turn? Based on the beating you took this turn, it's the best chance you've got. Please hurry though, I don't know how much longer this place is going to stay open Wink

Almost forgot - here is the DM column I wrote, but forgot to submit:

"Things are as depressing as ever in the throneroom as I watch team after team drop like flies who have whiffed Narcoleptic Guard’s breath. One of these days I will mingle with what’s left of you, but for now I will share some thoughts from Maulmentum about his pummeling of Head Trauma. He tells me you’re a triple threat…at least to kids looking for a basher role model. Bad weapon choice, bad strategy and an incredibly bad challenge make it really difficult for Maulmentum to brag about beating you since it's obvious it's your manager that wants you to die. But let’s be honest – did you really think your weapon choice would work? You would have had better luck charging my guy with a credit card. You are the poster child for why bashers get a bad name, which should not to be confused with bashers with bad names, like Ham Burglar. In the meantime, you should all be looking to the rowdy dwarf for tips since he has put up a better fight and lasted longer than the entire team of I Crush Ur Head combined. ~ Bashmaster Maularia"

Sorry, somehow we missed a turn. Back next one.

Narcoleptic Guard is ready for his bare knuckle brawl. Hopefully he won't nod off at the start of the fight like he did this past turn.

Great to hear! The arena management has been weeding out the dead weight to make it more exclusive to those who can hack the physically and verbally tough atmosphere and we were hoping you would make the cut. I'll be sure to give you a nice mention in my 8th Bashmaster column.

Glad to see some smack talk Maulmentum. I know, bad weapon choice, but Head Trauma has won 2 fights with that weapon and thrown crits. Just experimenting with a guy who some would have DA'd from the start. I give everyone a chance, never know what will happen.

Thanks for setting this arena up, and I hope we can get some teams back, it started up so nice and full. I hope I havn't run all 5 guys every turn just to see Seam fold.

Smack talk? In The Stomping Grounds we just call it conversation Smile

If the arena does fold, at least you will have been part of one the game's most unusual, albeit ill-advised, experiments, not including next turn's bare-knuckle brawl for the throne.
