On the surface this looks like a pretty good RU for arena use only at...3-17-13-11-10-6-10.
I was thinking either a non burned design of 5-17-13-17-15-6-11.
I could also go with a burned design of 6-17-13-16-16-6-10 and burn him to 7-17-13-17-17-6-11.
The questions though are what style? PL, PS, WS? Despite the high CN & WL, I am uncertain of a defensive because 1- can't carry much armor. 2 - Crappy weapon selection. He can only use a SH (which pretty much rules out WS)
I need some ideas. Any suggestions for this RU?
Thanks. |

I've always had pretty good success with low strength offensive TPs. Something like 5 17 13 17 15 6 11.
You could also consider keeping the WL at 10 and going something like 9 17 13 17 10 7 11.
Either way, you'll want to run him fairly offensive, and he'll flail a bit the first 5 fights till he learns some attack. As he learns more attack, you can start to up the offensive effort some.
If it were mine, and I *had* to run it, I'd go with the 2nd set of numbers.

i like what Kellumbo said....cept i would make it to where you werent burning so many attributes in so many places, seeing you only get a chance of learning attributes after you learn the first, again i may be wrong there. but i would go: 6-17-13-17-15-6-10 and i would definately train str first......learn some skills, then train again. theres also a chance this warrior would come back with little to normal damage, but who knows. I DO know that offensive tp's are very fun when they start racking up in the skill department.

I would probably just forgo the 17 WT and go:
9-17-13-13-15-6-11 TP
I just can't stand low strength, especially on defensives. My back-up plan would be Kellumbo's 2nd suggestion: 9-17-13-17-10-7-11. |

We would run this TP at 9-19-13-11-16-6-10 and with some burning expect to do well in an arena with it. (11-21-13-12-18-7-11 with maybe another WT and/or WL) |

Were it mine, I'd go:
3-17-13-11-10-6-10 -> 3-17-13-17-15-6-13 B
This comes from a silly manager who wants to graduate a 3 Strength Basher.
That said, I would recommend a 3 Strength design. You'll learn a lot, do something unique, and probably have fun in the process. As you stated, this isn't a tourney warrior, it's an arena warrior for fun...
3-17-13-11-10-6-10 -> 3-17-13-17-15-6-13 TP/PR
He won't be great either way and you'll have to experiment to find out the sweet spot for armor / strat.
Of course, the designs suggested elsewhere will be much better. But I have never cared about better and would much rather run the strange and unique... |

I would probably go something like your first design but I would go
6-17-13-17-15-6-10 and burn the ST/DF once each. Use the SH/SM carry backup SHs and go OTP. |

Thanks for all the advice and suggestions everyone. I do appreciate it. Despite it all though, I am no closer to deciding than I was several days ago. I think I have this RU narrowed down to either a OTP, PL, PS or WOS, but just can't decide on the final numbers. Uggh, I don't know why this one is so hard to decide on. |

I must admit I am abit surprised by both OAB and Consortium's advice. Not because they don't usually give good advice (because they do), but rather because they both advocated passing on the 17 WT. Personally, I never pass on a 17 or 21 WT or WL if I can get them.
No matter if you go PL or OTP, I'd think the 17 Wit would be a huge asset. That bein said, I'll leave others to give you advice on the numbers for either a OTP or PL as I don't have a lot of experience with either.
Good Luck. |

If you are making a scum TP, and this one certainly can be one, then you need the con, str and will - not the wit. Still, if I can get a 17 wit, like you I will take it. I'll make my scum with other roll-ups.
I would go with either the OTP or the Piker. The key for me would be endurance. PL or WS both burn endurance quickly. You have will and con, so you could make it work, but the low endurance burning styles seem like a better bet. |
