I'm curious to know some of your experiences with your most junior warriors who have attained the Duelmaster title in arena play (who also didn't have a ton of hidden FE from tourneys). I bring this up as I recently attained the DM title with a 6-1 warrior of mine in a slow arena(19 FE total).
I understand acheiving the DM title with a low FE warrior is not quite as hard as it used to be due to smaller arena populations, but I was curious to find out how prevalent it is these days with warriors who have single digit arena fights. |

Avenging Antelope of Satan's Kingdoms (Dark One?) in DM13 got the throne at 5-0 and is currently 10-0. Don't know his hidden FE... |

Avenging Antelope has a bunch of tournament fights and the arena had no one else with fights, so it's not much of an accomplishment.
The coolest thing I remember was way back when in DM 33 there was a warrior named Killjoy of Test Tube Babies who was something like 4-0-3 and Duelmaster. I don't think he had any tourney fights and he killed a couple of 20 fight warriors on his way to the top.
It was one of the things that addicted me to this game...

Even in the old days with fthis happened, especially with Bloodfeuds (thrown or not). I've seen a 3 or 4 FE warrior take the throne because of a thrown Bloodfeud, and numerous times Adept level warriors have won legitimately.
And almost no need to count the number of tourney strikers who have done this.
For myself, with legitimate warriors (might be one or two others, this is from memory, young warriors who didn't deserve the throne, but got it anyways):
12-5-0 17 FE (turn 244, dm59 - current)
- reason: empty arena
7-7-1 14 FE (turn 328, dm51)
- reason: pure luck
6-0-1 10 FE (turn 351, dm65)
- reason: arguably the best basher I have |

In the Terrablood records section:
Youngest Duelmaster
AHMED (6-6182) of THE LADY'S LIST (395)
[1-0-0,20]
Arena 6, Turn 529
That's gotta be a tough record to beat. |

I believe Slugbait had a 1-0-1 WS (he might have had 1 prior fight) beat by 20ish FE DM Basher in a BF about a dozen years ago or so. I didn't throw the fight, but I did drop offensive numbers (KD to 1) . |

So SWEET! And that is a 1FE warrior, for anyone who doesn't know who runs The Lady's List...
And she kept the throne for 2 more turns before losing it at 2-2!

Which means that she lost a fight on one of those turns, but kept the throne? I would assume that means a small arena and a loss to a standby. Still, that's gotta be a tough record to beat. |

4-0 for me in 44 many years ago. It was a ST with a little tourney exp, but nothing extravagant (1 tourney, no TV). She turned to be my first graduate too. |

My best was Afterimage of Immortals in Aruak City getting it with a 6-1 record. Had about 89 rec. points as the few chall. champs all sat out. He was a striker who lost the title but would get it back on 4 other seperate occasions. |

Dartor,
Glad to see you still lurking and active occasionally when I check Aruak NLs. I really wish I had the funds to come back in because it's sad to see my second major arena ever (during my 2000 comeback) falling on hard times.
Ahhhh the good ole' days of the Aruak Invasion and 70 teams. I know it's where I first realized how easy it is to be mis-understood on message boards and a source of some regret and some pride at what we ALL built even if it was only a few months long!
And in case I forget to keep checking and I miss it..... an early congratulations for when you hit 1000 wins! |

Thanks Street Legal. We could definately use a great manager like yourself to come back to our fair city. There has been no sign of Adie, Doc Steele, or Gen. Peurco for a while. |

Follow up question out of pure curiousity.... what's the most number of duelmasters you've had who've held the throne in multiple arenas at the same time.
Out of the five regular DM arenas I regularly operate in, I'm holding the DM spot in four. I don't think I ever had more than two at once back in the day. It's always nice acheiving new personal bests... there are so many ways to do this which help keep the game fun and interesting. |
