The time has come yet again for the gladiators of the fine city of Sunset to face off for glory, fame and sometimes death. The managers of ths fine city have put in the hours training and planning, using stratagies they hope will ensure victory and a fat purse. Gladiators are a fickle lot. They sometimes bring in a sizeable haul of coin. Sometimes they bring only disappointment. No matter how they fare one thing stays constant, the seats stay full as long as you keep the sands occupied, and that is just what the crowds will get this 639th (24.576923 years or 24 years 30 weeks) biweekly anniversary of Sunset's opening. Who will the crowds cheer for? For whom will the crowds applause be the last sound they ever hear? Will the duelmasters seat be occupied by last turns winner or will the seat see another? Will there be anyone from this fine city that will catch the eye of the lady from the islands winning them an invitation? For whom will the bell toll? Will the bell toll for thee and if it does will it be for victory or death?
All is written and awaiting the reading. Cast your votes for the die has already been cast, all that is left to do collect or pay your just dues.
What say you fare managers of Sunset? Do you believe you are the recipients of glory or sorrow?
For Gentleben he believes we will see yet another smurf atop the throne. He believes in his heart that the 240th turn of the Sunset fights will be the first turn the smurfs will fight as immortals. Gentleben has seen death this turn and believes that one of the Bazaar are involved but how is not clear, he hopes for the best. The Blak-jak Dealer should have dealt his first hand, did his opponent get 21 or go bust, or perhaps he held short of 21 in hopes that he can keep the hand of fate from dealing a swift blow. All is not yet clear even though the dice have fallen and the cards lay where they fell.
Good luck to all and see you in the taverns... |

I'm thinkin' the Tribe has a pretty good turn. No more DAs. No more wasted fights on futile bloodfeuds. So with no guaranteed losses coming, perhaps this crew can pull out a few wins or four? That would be nice. |

I can see a 2-3 or 3-2 with one DA. If my challenges went through and I did correct my mistakes I might have a 4-1. Hopefully I can get in the chase for some of the unchartered team awards. |

Ophelia told me that it's about time to expect another Champ+ death. With all the new blood, I'd expect one or two in the Inits as well. The Throne will be decided on a matchup again.
And welcome to any (hypothetical) turn 639 debutantes! |

What a shame! I sure hope it is not Leni in a Poole of her own blood, that would be just horrible |

i'm going to predict 2-3-1... i'll probably be bloodfueded on this turn... so i'm cautiously optimistic about a 2-3-1. |

Well, none of my ads got in for arena 7, so now I'm a bit worried that everything I sent in for 21 won't show either. Which would be sad, because they were brilliant . . . . |

Didn't expect mine. Ach. Debut was 4-1 in 81 only loss being DA. I have a winning record elsewhere. This will change here in 21 I am sure. |

4-1 for me, held onto the top team spot, acceptable. Once again I've been too insanely busy to get my ads in, barely got turn sheets scribbled out...
Welcome to the new teams and congrats to the new DM and his invite! |

Nice round Bubba!!
Happy with mine. 3-2 with two DA's.
All fights looked entertaining too.
I like how Grey Fatal Came right back at Spigot. Probably another lucky win! |
