His swammieness the ever in need of mental counseling the one and only (thank the gods there are 2 of him) the one we all love to make fun here he is the great in his own mind the underachieved Gentleben <cricks chipr>
"Hghmmm... how goes it managers and warriors of Sunset. I am here to share with you my wisdom and fore sight:
Cather attempts to defend his throne with a special stratagy as he challenges the top contender as opposed to going for and easy Scum win. Cather discovers that the Smurfs Silver or Blue are extreamlly dangerous. All that is left to discover is whether or not Cather survives the brutal beating he recieves in his loss to said Smurf!
420 B.C captures the current top team as well as holding onto the current Top Unchartered Team award as well as having the top unchartered recognition leader sice the Serpents will be chartered as of turn 640. All he needs is two more awards and the whole team fights for free. I do not see this happening.
Nomads team reclaims the Top Career Chartered Team award!
Bloodthirst tries unsuccessfully to BF the bloodthirsty Who!
Gentleben recieves graduation notice for at least one of his Smurfs if not both!
Angle upsets yet another more experienced warrior!
Grim Fandango is the most avoided team!
Mersilus is the most challenged warrior this turn!
Doc Legrand's Avians are still at 12 and 26 recognition points!
Kano Clan fights 3 warriors and one of them gets challenged!
One of the new teams must bury one of their own!
One of the new teams forces someone else to bury one of theirs!
Those are my predictions and just remember that a warriors job is not to die for his manager but tho make his opponent die for his!
Fight hard and leave it all on the sands for their will be no bad attitudes allowed at the taverns afterwards. |

I see Bloodsong winning way more often than not. If he isn't the unchartered recognition leader then Grasseed. I'm pretty confident in my guy though.
I also think I have a good chance for top team on the move. The bad luck ends now; Golgotha's Blooms 4-1.
The Silver Smurfer gets the chair if he avoided Grim Fandango. A death on the throne?
Most challenged Warrior is Leni Poole.
Either my guy Poco dies or I get my first kill in Sunset.
Here comes my rally monkey. See you later. |

I hope this prediction proves false, but I have little faith. That freakin' Who is pretty badass. |

Welcome to Sunset, Marmaduke! It's a nice, friendly arena even when the blood spills. |

Grass Seed unchartered rec leader? Well he does seem to get lucky that one.
Another DA so i know i will have at least one loss .
Hopefully Spigot fights someone new since i know his luck will run out with Grey Fatal.
May The Drill learn as quick as possible
May the ROG finally give me a complete team!!
Hoping for a resounding 4-1 however i could see a 1-4 as well.
good luck to all |

again, thank you gentleben for the predictions!
hoping to see my turn in the mail today... so i'm going to predict a 3-2...
i sent a couple of ads in - one of which is promoting this forum since 21 is one of the most active on the boards and i'd like to see even more join us here.
good luck to everyone!

That would be good. There is also a cross between arenas 81 and 21 on the forums i.e. active people on the forum in both. I think 29, where I have started running and you and Consortium run (I think others). It would be good if we could get 81 people into 21 and 21 people into 29 etcetera. Try the triumvirate Arena online community. |

Well, congrats to another new DM with a grad notice, he's off like a prom dress as Ben predicted! You finally got your wish, a little blue guy back on the throne, however briefly. Thought I had my challenges/avoids set up pretty well to get a shot at the title with somebody, but fate had other plans. My scum avoids the DM's challenge only to get impaled by the other aimer I was avoiding! Strikes and gutters...Perhaps next turn. Patience...
Big welcome to Marmaduke coming in like a house on fire with the 5-0-0. Things tend to even out, though, just ask Fizban or Khisanth!
It's always nice to see new managers arrive, but with the influx we've had lately (and may continue to have if I've heard right) of very experienced veterans with new teams, the competition will not feel like "new" teams. At least I don't think it will once I get some initiates again!
2-3 for my squad, meh. We'll see how learns went. With luck turn arrives today. Hopefully the Bottomless Kegger wasn't too hard on anybody and the hangovers aren't too disabling! |

4-1 here, and my blood feud was successful, against Gentleben's predictions. |

A winning turn for me. Two more in a row and I can get over 500. Looks like I have to send a size 4 to the DA. Poco's loss better look a lot better than the first one. I got two predictions right. Bloodsong fights for free. Congrats to Silver Smurfer. Hope I have a title in about six months. Achish seems to have had a good first fight. Bonused?! I can't wait. 17 @#*&#@& teams! Nice. |

No turns as I had expected when I sneaked a peak at the newsletters this morning before I headed of the work at 530 in the freaking am.
DM and a grad notice, sweeeet , can't wait to see the overview and see the FAVS. I wonder if he got the SC, he does seem to love that weapon.
Grandaddy must have had a senior moment as he missed this turn even though I put in a strat for him, oh well, next turn.
Daemonspawn- nice BF, it will be intersting to see what BE'AL'TZAR is and how that fight went. I don't remember if she went after WL or Skills we shall see. I hope we see eachother on the sands again next turn.
MARMADUKE! DUDE!!! A sweet sweet entrance, only a big dog should be allowed to come in already ready to run with the big dogs, congrats on the 5-0 and we will see you on the sands very soon, I have two replacements coming to me and my Who is still very young. |

whoa... why??? before you do that i implore you to share him with us and let's see if we can salvage your sz4.
by the way- and this goes out to everyone here on the boards - if anyone matches up with one of my guys and wants to discuss the ins and outs of the fight, i don't have any problem sharing information.
the way i see it, there are a few managers with most of the info and i'm all about the "little guy" learning as much as we can. the best way is to talk about strategy/tactic/etc.

I have to agree with bubba on this one, you don't get very many SZ 4 guys and maybe your just not giving him a fair shot but then we don't know what he looks like nor how his fights look with the strat you are using. I have been known to have a itchy trigger finger when it comes to the DA, I have DAd many that others probably could have made work.
Speaking on work, how wants to work at getting the throne? Who wants a shot? |
