Since Contenders is such a new class I have no idea what to expect from mine. My best is 39 trains and 288 skills.

Depending on his physicals, he's upper echelon for Contenders, considering my best Contender is a Primus drop-back with only 265 skills and about 38 trains. It also helps if he has the key component of great faves, many Contenders being modified in anticipation of Primus greatness. Regardless, he'll probably TV.

Sweet! Yeah, that has to be close to the best total combo of total skills and train that you can have and still be a Contender. I have two that are about 20 skills under that, which I had hopes of TVing with, but we will see if their good to great faves and knackyness help them out.

That has been the case for most of my DM career. My warriors always seemed to have the skills but their physicals were severely lacking. If this warrior gets hit it is all over for it. The key for it is to not get hit. I have another one that is at 274 skills with 36 trains but this one can at least take a few hits before giving up. Both have decent favs.
