Win/Loss percentage was 58.5%, and TV/TC percentage was 18.2%
I sent 22 warriors, 2 Primus, 4 Freshmen, 4 Challengers, 2 Adepts, 3 Initiates, and 7 Apprentices. Overall record was 86-64, with 3 TV's, and 1 TC (my 1st!).
Thanks to 3 things that happened I felt like I was there the whole weekend, #1 RSI posting the Newsletters so fast, #2 A proxy that took the time to call me after every class I was in and work out the next turn (yes, I ran my guy's from in Atlanta!), #3 Because RSI was posting all the newsletters so efficiently I was able to assist my alliance by looking up style matchup's for them online, this was a big time saver for them, and kept me involved in what was happening out there
Another interesting thing happened after the tourney. It seems that I was the victim of a "DRIVE BY GUARDIAN", these are alot more prevalent on the RoundTable, but can happen anywhere Guardian has lifted his leg to leave his mark From what I was told by dis-interested parties Guardian was spouting one of his many tirades of BS, this one being about how once again the better warrior (his, of course) did not win the tournament. Now I admit that his Adept did pummel the dog @#$% out of my warrior, before he gave up and proved once again that high skills are not everything, and that a well rounded warrior with strong intangibles (Knack) can pull off the impossible and TC.
Steve/Rascally Rabbit
P.S. Guardian, the better warrior did win the Adepts, Mine Suck it up stop whining for once and get ready for this summer in the Champion's

RR, congrats on the TC first! Try not to get Guardian all stirred up now...
It is important to remember that the most skills/first swing doesn't necessarily make the best warrior at any given point in its carreer. You have to be standing/fighting at the end for that!

Again Steve congrats on your TC. I also enjoyed your recap. Maybe what you did will be the new thing. Groups intentionally leaving one of thier mates home so they can look up styles on Terrablood. Of course I wonder how many managers are online at the tables.
Anyway that for the recap and talking smack. Lots of fun.

RR, your lousy ST won't even be invited to watch the TC fight in the champs. But nice TC fight, so enjoy it while it lasts.

Bum, I wasn't checking out Terrabloods (probably should have). I was actually checking the round by round newsletters for previous round fight info, and was able to do some interesting searchs/queries on our opponents opponents previous round match-ups to help determine trends after about round 3 or 4 (if that makes sense????).
Jason/Manray, My TC wasn't a Striker it was a LU, and had alot more going for it than the average manager such as yourself (just kidding ) would realize, 1st he's a clone with what most consider perfect fav's for a Lunger (including a double tactic), 2nd he started +4 defense and thanks to a bonus prize is now +4 in attack also, 3rd Just before the tournie I used a 10 skill prize to max his def, and raise his rip, 4th he's extremely knacky, and you have to almost kill him before he'll give in (and with his high physicals...), 5th Jiles had to get atleast 1 of his predictions right
Thanks for the well wish's good luck at the summer face. I've heard rumors that it may end up being in Atlanta? If that happens I'll be hosting on Thursday and Friday nights at Hammer's near the airport, they stay open till 4AM!

Why would Guardian be commenting on his warrior being better, when you fought a slosher for the Adepts TC (Paramecipottamus)? Or are you talking about another class?
Either way, congrats on the TC, though with all the bonuses on your guy in such a low tourney class, it seems like it would've been harder to not TC.

Guardian was complaining about the fact that I beat his warrior Cheese Steak to get in the finals, and he was actually ragging on both of our warriors.
I'd be curious to compare notes on what we both did differently in the finals, vs when you beat me 2 or 3 fight's before?

If it was your first TC, where'd you get the three TC prizes it took you to win it?
And I'd certainly hope a 3 TC prize warrior was the best in the class.
On a side note, it makes you look like a sore winner to flame someone based on something you heard out of context, second hand. Or did your proxy have you on the speakerphone at the time?

Aquired the clone thru a trade involving 3 Gateway (Priestess Python, and 2 other Legrand warriors) and 1 Primus warrior (Star Spangled Scrag), paid cash for the bonus potion, and engineered a multiple manager trade for the skill prize.
Just like Guardian, and a number of other managers when there's a prize available you'll find me in the bidding
My point, Guardian was blowing smoke out his @#$ again when he said his warrior was the best warrior. But then nothing is assured, look at the inits there were 2 DYO Aimers (1 a former TC) with additional prizes on them that didn't TC
I can see your point about the sore loser, but then since you're defending Guardian (aren't you his partner in the current TOG's?) I'm guessing you haven't been on the receiving end of any of his drive by's? For my side of it I trust the people that related it to me, plus it came from multiple independant sources, and there was a consistency to the facts. But I'm always willing to here the other side if you would care to relate it.

Maybe Guardian doesn't understand this game as much as he thought then. I know we had a few warriors that probably could've beat Cheese and your guy, but they fought against a few guys that matched up better against them. That's part of the game and is what makes it interesting. There are very few locks. Heck, even with all those prizes on him, your guy still took a few losses.
You'd have to talk to Chazz as Para was his warrior. I think if we ran those two against each other a bunch more times, well, I have no idea who would win more. Great last fight and congrats on the TC.... we'll try to make sure it doesn't happen again (kidding )

Hey, I like the trend i'm seeing of PR's doing real well in adepts. I feel like a trend-center.
