So, as I mentioned in the other post, Lee is having trouble arranging the challenges for the non-contest match-ups...so in order to help her out, if you would like to arrange your own match-ups for Turn 549, you can do so in this thread. Like a grudge fight, if you want to fight someone else's warrior, both sides need to confirm, so they'll need to post the match-up as well. (Obviously your warriors in the KOP tourney can't fight again)

You can also post if you just don't care who you want to fight in the next turn and will take anyone.

Anyway, if anyone wants to fight one of my warriors, feel free to just post it and I'll confirm. Don't really care who they match against:

197) PRIMUS BOUND 40-2996 (TP) vs. Bedtime (82-28461).
-----------------------------------
97) DEATH FOG 45-4017 (AB)
212) GOLDWRAP 82-11886 (LU)
214) TRYPTOPHAN 71-5634 (AB)

I'd like a shot at Primus Bound with Bedtime (82-28461). Tomato Ion was a little outclassed this past turn, so I want to see how Bedtime does with the same matchup.

I'm also looking for a few matchups, but I'm a little more picky than Manager. If you have a really old warrior(at least 300 arena fights) and you'd like to try fighting any of the following guys, I'm open to it:

103) NEOSPHINCTER 18-7317 (AB)
229) TOMATO ION 82-55638 (LU)
230) BOBS AND DOGS 82-55985 (AB)
236) MARV JR 18-9288 (AB)
261) 5 GOT PICKED 41-4199 (AB)
283) PSYCHO GRANDMA! 16-5120 (AB)

We really liked the concept as it was. This sorta gives us the impression it is falling apart. (sigh) If directed opponents do not show, and the fights are randomized, it will disappoint us as we only decided to participate in these Primus fights for this "team event" and would not have fought there otherwise.

I only found this out last turn, but apparently, your opponent's can't "not show". If there's a strategy in the system for them, they'll run, and for all of these warriors there's a strategy in the system for them. I only know this because last turn there was a manager who didn't get his strategies in on time and they ran anyway. Next time we'll have to add a disclaimer saying that it's impossible for you to drop out once you sign up.

This is only to mitigate the non-contest match-up section of the turn that Lee has to run by hand. Think of it as your own "grudge fight turn" if you must.

(Confirmed the Bedtime match up)

Just to be clear (and correct me if I'm wrong):

The King of Primus contest fights are working perfectly. Every contest participant will fight their correct opponent no matter what.

The thing that is not working is the other fights in Primus. Because Lee has to manually match up contest participants, it is screwing up the challenge system, so if you really want a particular challenge in your non-contest fights, you need to agree to it with your opponent and notify Lee.

That's correct.

So when filling out this turn's strat sheets for Primus, are we also to assume that using challenges and avoids are basicly useless?

I suspect they've been mostly useless the past 3 turns, I don't know how she's been processing challenges...have you gotten anything through?

Interestingly enough, now that I look at the last NL, it said that Frail Whale was the most challenged warrior in the arena (located in the report from within the tower), however not a single matchup in the entire arena resulted from a challenge... all were matchups per the fight summaries.

It's been taking Lee on the order of 5 hours to get all the matchups(contest and non-contest) working for one turn of Primus.

Apparently, this past turn she got everything done Wednesday night and then the next day more strategy changes came in, so she had to do it all over again.

That really sucks, so if we can help her save time by selecting our own non-contest matchups, I'm all for it.

Wow, I had no clue. I'd gladly set my warriors against each other and anyone who wants my odd warrior can have him.

Tom Thumb (18-815) vs. Mrs. Butterworth (28-1226)
The Man (3-6077) vs. Link (6-5144)

Odd warrior, would prefer to fight a non AB/L with close to same DI
Tim (18-2872) <DI = 380, style=Basher>

AHHH! GREAT. We misunderstood and are glad we did.
