Sunset - Turn 655

As the sun sets the crowds prepare for the night fights, or are they the really really early morning fights...they do happen prior to the rest of the fights...and for that matter it helps to be a morning person when your the DM since your challange happens right after the mornings DA fights, which are right before any early morning BF fights which happen right before any tournament champion challenge fights which happen right before the not as early tournament victor challenge fights...but then I guess if your not a morning person you could just stay in bed and not issue a challenge and avoid all those you think are morning people...so much goes into being the Duelmaster...glad I am a manager and not a gladiator...I can sleep in as late as I want on fight day...but then how do you know if your gladiators are doing what you want...maybe that explains my 1-14 record for the last 3 turns and 2-18 over the last 4 turns...guess I need a new rooster and I need to eat less chicken...

Any who, the time has come for me to make a few predictions, it didn't help not making them soooo.... here we go:

The Duelmaster with out insurance will woo the day he told those gieco people to jump in the lake the only question is will he survive the infirmary? But who will do the deed and take the throne from him?

Tool Shed will shed some light on someone else as they give up the current top spot to a sharper set of tools?

Nomad follows up thier fantastic turn with an average 3-2 turn but still remains in the top 3 teams in the current top team race and closes the gap on Deviation on the hunt to reclaim top career honors as Deviation goes 1-4...again Twisted Evil

Will Kano Clan fight his precious Moshi Haru? My guess is "NO"

Will Ben's Bazaar win a fight this turn to avoid going 1-14 again...my guess is "YES"!!!! With an astonding 4-1 no less with the only loss being due to the Who Evil or Very Mad

Will there be more blood shed in the regular arena than in the dark arena? I say "Yes"

Will one of the deaths be the current DM? I guess..."Yes"

Will one of the deaths be one of the Clan? I sure hope so Twisted Evil

Will one of the deaths be at the hands of one of Ben's Bazaar? Probably not but we can hope...maybe the Barbie will get one then we can call her Blood and Guts Barbie Laughing

Will the Smurfs make someone else blue for the week? My guess is "Yes"

Will The Red Blades wake up in time to fight? If they got a new rooster they will

Will Fritersatafatfarm realize why that is a bad idea? Probably but who will teach him that lesson is the question

Will Team Slime fight? I Shirley hope so Laughing

Will Ben's Bazaar be the most avoided team? Laughing

Yea right

Will there be any new teams this turn? No I say but we should for turn 656

Sucks that New Year is on Sat, guess we will get to read all the fights on Mon Crying or Very sad

I seriously considered it everytime I started a new line but I was just to filled with Christmas joy so...you know...if you can't say anything good don't say anything at all Wink

plus I was kind of hoping you would kick the shit out of teh Clan since I avoided them like the plague this turn...I gave them enough wins over he last few turns Confused

I optimistically predict a 3-2-0-1 turn, with my replacement Iguanadon (who FINALLY showed up) being food for the Shewish Giant in the DA. He isn't horrible but suffers from the condition of being insufferably boring and very much like many, many of my recent rollups (semi-runnable arena warriors). But who knows, maybe he'll prove me wrong and be interesting by surviving.

Gecko actively challenged from the throne this turn ... depending on the matchup, he'll be giving away about 10-15 FE ... eep! Fortunately, he is a fairly clever little devil and may squeak out another win.

My other warriors are gunning for a 2-1 collective record.

I knew there was a reason I didn't feel very good about this turn, looks like 2-3-0 was a tad on the optimistic side...1-4-0-1. Lost all my challenges, (not to mention my money betting on that lizard Duelmaster) and my newbie goes and kills, lovely...although I have no doubt the Great and Merciful Gentle Ben will live up to his namesake and show nothing but sweet mercy to my little bird....uh-huh. Rolling Eyes

Hope the replacement looks good, BF will be coming but I will have to see what Blak Thrush is before I decide Who will get the honors Wink

Well, Ben was right that the Tribe would come back down to earth after last turns 5-0. This time a 1-4. Ouch. Actually, 1-4-1. Another veteran kill, this time one of the Opera folks. Dang. I rotate through attack locations, so sometimes I am aiming vitals, but I didn't think this was one of those fights. Not that I would know - nothing in the mail due to snow and no mail for a couple of days.

Good bloodfeud by the Loons. Bummer.

And Walli was a bit outclassed, or at least outexperienced, by Yuedebahl. Got that basher back on track for the Blades.
