...that I had no idea about at all. A manager can now run more than one team in an arena? Well, if that is one of their arenas was closed by RSI, they can elect to transfer to any arena and can run both teams at that point. Didnt see this anywhere as a game change, so thought Id highlight it, and ask a question or two?

How is that treated by the game? Will those two teams run by one manager match up against each other? Can they challenge each other? I would imagine that would be frowned up, seems pretty cheap to me. But I digress. Have many managers ended up with multiple teams? Seems pretty convient to me, only have to rememeber one due date, can utilize one set of intelligence for making your challenges, can increase both arena activity and smack talk. I think its a good thing personally. Just didnt know about it till a second ago.

I have 2 teams in DM 36 and it is my understanding that these 2 teams can't match up against or Challenge each other. I bought a few teams in closed arenas just because I thought if I ever needed backup in one arena I could pull another team of my own in!

I can confirm Polaris's statement. I have had 3 teams in Sunset since the day they started allowing it and have never matched up, got a challenge thru to my own teams. And apparently yyou can not avenge a BF with a warrior from one of the other teams either

I have 3 teams in 78, "The Willburys 37", "The Willburys 77", and "The Willburys 78. Obviously you can tell which arena's they came from. I've also never matched against myself. I like the fact that in a small arena you can bring in 3 teams and own the arena if you want Cool Plus, it makes it easier to get out those godlings Twisted Evil

Well it is certainly news to me heh, guess they had to do something when they closed arenas. Personally, looks like they might still need to close some, why are arenas runnig with 5 teams? But I digress....

So far I only noticed my team in 49 needs to be transfered, so I threw them into 36 too...looks like the biggest arena, so lets make it bigger! Ill have to check later this weekend and see if any of my other arenas were closed, but my mains (10, 15, 41) are all open so thats good at least.

Just to confirm:
Multiple teams are possible in arenas. (If preowned or acquired from the closed arenas)
Teams under one account cannot fight each other.
However, teams are individual teams, in that a team bloodfeud cannot be performed by another team.

Of course, there is real value in the strategizing.

Supposedly the multi-team-any-arena will not happen. (It has been asked multiple times.) There are probably lots of reasons why, one of which is the commitments made to the greatly affected managers who were running in the forced close arenas. There were more than most people would think.

We are amongst those who do not believe that multi-teams-in-any-arena will realy help the game or the RSI cash flow.

As are we. The best change of the game in my opinion would be to make the weapons more equal. An experienced warrior IRL would be able to do devastating damage with almost any weapon. A GS for instance should not be beaten out by a SC for damage, A MS was a devastating weapon IRL but is laughable in DM, this just isn't "reality being simulated".

Our belief is that the best "change for the game" would for RSI & The Managers to go out and get more participants. Of course, we (The Consortium) have not done that very well as our once flock of 35+ active teams/managers is now much, much lower.

Of course that would be best and I hate to say this but I don't ever see any major influx of players to DM. At best we may gain them as fast as we lose them.
Our biggest hope of getting more players is to hook the old players. I have not had any luck getting friends to play but have gotten several managers to reactivate in old arenas or not to leave thier present.
