Donatello was powerful back in the day, on the count of prizes he won from tourneys. He was a Parry-Lunger, and everyone wanted to beat him, Gypsy Moth, Furious Impaler, Vengeance, etc. But few managed to win. Donatello was great, but beatable. Well, he retired, but now Aimed Blows control the game. They use style swap prizes, and change their guys to aimed blows, and make them unarmed. They are unbeatable, and can't even be hit. For example, if Donatello did this, his stats would stay the same, but he would get the bonus for being an aimed blow. This is very stupid, seeing how the Aimed Blow warriors' fists would have to be harder than steel to break through armor. Please, RSI, fix this so other people will have the chance to get to the top.

Many players agree with you and have been asking for some balancing in weapons and the AB glitch for years. A few years back we were promised a ADM testing arena to try and address those issues, but that hasn't happened.

How about adding a special ADM Testing tourney class at each FTF. Each player attending the FTF can enter 10 ADM warriors (1 of each style) for FREE, with no strategy changes. Then players could make some suggestions on possible tweaks for game balancing. It could be a great incentive for players to attend FtF's and feel more involved in the game.

Indeed, it has been hurting the game for a long time now. There is no parity at the top, and I can say from a personal standpoint that it has forced me to retire just about every Primus fighter I've ever had. I would be running 12-15 guys there every turn if it were not for the AB monopoly, instead I'm only running one Lunger there. He's one of the best I've ever had, and he's barely winning enough to keep him playing.

As for Donatello, from what I understand, he dominated simply because he was one of the first fighters to max skills before raising stats. I believe he was the first to reach Archmaster in anything. The whole skill burning thing wasn't really understood in the early days, so most of his peers got "ruined" by stat burns, in the days before gateway skills.
