Wow. Never in a million years did I figure I'd be on the receiving end of a 121 point DC execution and end up being the bad guy. I've changed my avatar to avoid any future incorrect assumptions about the way I play.

Nah, reputation is something that is fun in this place.
I have the reputation of a massive DCer and someone that doesn't challenge up. When in reality I attempt to challenge where my warrior will win, regardless of it being up or down. Also, I don't pick on teams at all, I rarely even look at the team I am challenging!! I look at the warriors on terrabloods and decide if I can beat that style, and throw that id number in there. I couldn't tell you the name of any warriors on anyones team. I don't pay enough attention to tell the truth.
Pick a persona and stick to your guns! Tripwire is NOT a nice guy. Mike behind the persona is a great guy if I do say so myself.
I know its very very hard for a lot of people to seperate the two, but I try my best.

Ok, here's my question. What would you do?
I would be pretty ticked. I know this is just a game, so I really don't take any of it personally, but I do role play it in my head and my manager personna simply wouldn't stand for this! I would do my best to challenge and beat '66 Corvette. If that simply wasn't possible or he graduated, I would return the favor of several large down challenges to his other warriors with the intent to try and score a kill of my own in retaliation. In the end, it's a game, so have fun with it. Write a few interesting personal ads and try to settle the score! Good luck to you! I'll be rooting for you!
We would call the mfbfer and his manager exactly what we thought they were, and we would boycot them for Christmas cards and send them gifts of brown sacks filled with healthy animal droppings!

Do you think RSI would object if I sent droppings as a diplo?

Nah. More likely they'd lose it before they knew what was in it.

Send him that dish you have as an avatar, if he doesn't choke on it it'll give him a heart attack.

Thanks for the kudos! We know everyone seems to love our special Avatar!
(We even have golfballs like it; a gift from a famous moderate liberal independent.)

Uhm.. mfbfer? Before I say much else, I should probably ask what that stands for? I hope it's not what I think it means.

I guess that makes Consortium a mfbfer as well.
Let's be real here, we know it wasn't meant as Multi-faceted Blood Feuder but meant as Mother F&^cking blood fueder. I know there will be denial about how it was meant but I know how Hombre took it when he told me about it. After reading it, that's how I took it as well. It's cool I get it. Now it's time for me to evaluate if I want to play in an arena where I'm told I'm "chicken shit" and a "mother fucker" because of the way I chose to run MY team. Ever since I came back to Shadowspire, people have told me how to run my team yet no one has bothered to pay me $10.75 to run my turn. Last I checked it's a freeblades arena. It wasn't like I went to Aruak City and started DC'ing or went to Sunset and cried about DCing. It's Freeblades! So it's probably time for me to bail again. It's obvious that my recent dominance is a threat to other managers here. So when I leave you guys can go back to picking on sub .500 teams and not have deal with someone of my caliber anymore. I'm pretty sure if I bounce, Hombre will join me and vice versa. I know I can find somewhere else to spend my $21.50 a month where profanity won't be used towards me.

Are you seriously considering quitting because a few owners made comments about not liking your style of play? To heck with them, play for YOUR love of the game, not what others think. Elephant, I don't know you, but I would hate to see you pull a gentleben and quit because other managers said something you didn't like. Come on man, I know your made of tougher stuff than that! Continue your dominance, have fun, and stick around! This whole quitting talk is non-sense!
I hope to see you around,
Vanek

i agree with vanek- and i'm the one that called it chicken shit. seriously-- who cares. it's just good natured ribbing in the forums. try not to take it so personally. i always make my decisions based on what is best for my teams and so should you. sometimes we can all come off as an asshole at some point in time. so, as borat would say, "high five!"

I think it's more than just 'some people made comments about the way he played'. The arena turned into a bunch of babies. I just dont get it, I have never, EVER once been mad about what someone has done to me in this game of freakin' paper dolls. I may get mad at myself for losing, because I should have known the challenge was coming, or I should have run a different strat or whatever, but I could give a rat's a$$ if someone with more FE and is challenging me from the top of ch. adepts to my low adept. If you dont like it, too f'in bad, it's RSI's game, their rules. Go play Hello Kitty's Island Adventure if you're going to whine. Otto posting on the forums and asking everyone else what they would do is like getting your big brothers to fight your battles or something. And Otto has done his fair share of bullying. It's laughable.
Consortium calling people Mother F'ers is just plain bullshit. Say what you want that acronym meant, but we all know. Way to not get personal. So many people on these forums try to shove their religion on other people. "if you're in this arena, we play this way" whaaaa! Go design your own game.
Vanek, Im sure he appreciates the cool words, and I'll work on him staying (seeing as we just got Pauly back into it, and are still working on his rl dad Indimar) I think the trick is to just stay off the forums. It's turned into facebook anyway.

The Consortium was just joking.... I think the Christmas cards part made it quite obvious... Stay around and keep up the good job with a new set of cars !
