Had a quick question about the ratings for endurance and encumbrance - if you train ST/CN, do these areas improve incrementally even if you don't get to the next rating level?
So for example, my Normal Endurance guy trains ST, but doesn't get to the Good endurance level. Has his endurance improved, or is it only at breakpoints where it increases?
Same idea for encumbrance, can a Cannot carry a lot of weight guy with a 9 ST carry the same as an 11 ST guy with the same rating?

I've always looked at the ratings as road markers, not a levels. If warrior A has 9 STR / 9 CON and warrior B has 11 STR / 9 CON they both are rated "not a lot of weight," yet B can still carry 2 more points than A. This is using the encumbrance formula I use: (STR + CON) - 6 = ENC; if CON > STR then just STR * 2 - 6 = ENC.
I treat END the same way, but the formula is a bitter involved. I generally just have an idea of how many swings my guy can get out at various levels and in conjunction with their rhythm.

Like Master Darque, we believe te calculation presents a road marker. In oter words, he two characteristics improve as stats increase - rather than when a "level" is hit.

I use these formulas for each:
Encumbrance: ST + (Lesser of ST/CN)
Endurance: (ST+CN) * WL
Converting encumbrance to weight is trickier and there are at least 2 different methods to estimate how much weight you can carry.
Endurance has a random component, so it is not exact.
