11-7-8-17-4-8-15 hate to waste the first possible 21 wit rollup, any suggestions would be apperciated.

+1, absolutely go with the double 21 AB... Don't be alarmed when he rolls up very little endurance, ABs can do just fine with that.

Yeah go with the double 21 AB. Even if he dies you will get him back from the dead eventually, I finally got mine back last October.

I agree with the others -- 21 WT/DF aimer. It'll die, of course, but will be awesome until it does.

Most vets would not think twice and would make it a double-21 aimer.
We suspect 11-7-8-21-8-8-21 is the best design, as you have already listed.
That said, newbies and even others are just going to cringe at the ability needed for success and just to keep it alive to graduate.
If aimers were a disallowed option (We sometimes get that way.) we would offer
11-7-8-21-8-12-17 ST or 11-7-8-21-8-14-15 ST or 15-7-8-21-8-10-15 ST

The double 21 design is solid, I might argue for 8 con/7 will, but it is quibbilng over a point that isn't going to change anything. This design will win lots of fights, but it is also very fragile and any loss has the potential to see him die. Long term, this is absolutely the best design. But as your first 21, do you want the high risk/reward design? I could easily see this guy at 8-0 as a champ that is going to lose to the much more experienced warriors up there.
I will also offer a striker alternate design:
15-7-8-21-9-8-15 (+1 point to Will or Strength)
This same design is likely going to be more competitive at 8-0 with the champions you'll be facing.

My only disagreement with what Mikey (Assur) said is that 21/9 ST are pretty damn common. 21/21 ABs are less so.
So I would go with the latter.

I've got a more noob-friendly version of the 21/21 AB...
9-14-5-21-9-5-21
He's right at 100 skills and 22FE. Unfortunately, his idiot manager can't figure out how to run him. He's currently 8-5-1 arena, 7-10-1 tourney. Not the world beater i thought I was making.
How do you run one of these? I've tried varying weapons (he crits with almost everything, repeatedly). What OE/AL strategy works best for AB's? I've tried running really hot most of the time...is this bad for the style?

He looks a bit on the slow side, unless he's learning DEC skills, and has some ability to take a hit so I might try running him with riposte tactic minute 1 with a dodge for desperation. Minutes 2+ you can use a hot strat decreasing over time once those offensives tire out a bit.
I have a frail AB whom I armor up and run 8-6-5 minute 1, 6-4-3 minute 2, then to cut to the chase 4-4-4 riposte desperation. He's got experts in DEF and PAR(+3) so I figured he's 50/50 record wise so play to his learns and bonus. Have run him with this strat for a few turns and he's stepped up his game! If your not facing a ST or fast BA/LU you could go 10-10-7 DEC or just 10-10-6 open.

If you want something other than an AB who may have a short life span I'd go 14-7-8-21-9-10-15 ST. But any of the 21/21 aimers here are fine. Don't fear too much these jaded managers talking about him surely dying. Chances are high of course (aimers seem to die more than any other class besides maybe PR) but if he wins 75% of his fights the chances of him dying are well below 25%!
