I've known the MS's faults for awhile, but this recent fight just reiterated them again.
Assur's warrior fights the dreaded Khalhums Dwarf.
Fast forward to the end of minute 2, shortly after my guy's first tired message. The Dwarf finishes Minute 2 with 3 attacks. Minute 3 begins and before the Dwarf attacks, he is gasping for breath. Another attack, then a flail, then the Dwarf drops from exhaustion.
I have no idea what (if any) strengths the Morning Star has.
It's a bashing weapon.
And it burns endurance like a much bigger weapon.
I suppose in it's benefit, the crits are cool to read. |

MS what the heck, it is probably a MicroSoft product?
The MS is the WF's big sister. |

Maybe the designers changed the game. I use to use a morning star a lot back in the old days and it was awesome. What activity level you are using it at? |

ANYMORE? Our opinion is zero is the best activity level for both the whiffle and the waffle. |

I've got a lot of kills and wins with that weapon. Seriously. Morning stars are cool. |

I'm also fairly certain it doesn't have a Parry Bonus, despite a handful of people using them in their off-hand... |

I think I will change my striker's weapon to a morning star just so I can prove how cool they are. |

Good luck LS. Wish you were in my arenas!
Actually, all weapons have their place, and we Consortiumites us them all. But there is little question to the community that the whiffle and the waffle are inferior to most all others. |

Don't forget to add the GS (Glass Sword) to the Whiffle (WF) and Waffle (MS). Three of the worst weapons in the game!
The MS has tremendous endurance burn with no noticable reason to choose it over weapons like the BS with less endurance burn and better damage. I do love the crits so that's it's only bonus I see. The WF has my favorite crits (especially the crit parry where it sings in A or E). |

I would like to add that the LS is a horrible weapon for a TP! I have two in Primus with LS favorites, hate it! |

And they're getting lazier too... perhaps someone could add a questionnaire or something to the application process, such as a few questions that every D2 player would know, but no one else would. |

I think the MS was supposed to be able to do really big damage if you got a good damage roll. My guys all pass out before that ever happens though. |

That's funny because I tend to like the LS as a weapon for TPs and have at least 1 with it as a fave. I would think it may be pretty good for an Offensive-TP due to it's excellent knockdown ability.Never used it in ADM though. Must be all about personal experience, or a case of diminishing returns at higher levels. |
