I don't believe its the Vikings either! Hang in there, Freeman is a best option for your team right now, he will get better.

even if the giants lost the worst team would still reside in Jacksonville...

As was pointed out he was set up to fail. He has no "sense" of how fast each guy is, how they "top" their routes (sharp or rounded), which guys can get separation, and he had maybe 25-33% of the playbook to go from.
It's not like he's Testaverde and you can call him the week of the game and he can come in and play like he's been there a month! That said go hit that list of 19 I posted and start watching them because that's what you may have to hope for next year!

All that said I wanted to put 2 of my favorite penalty calls that I happened to be watching the games (the ones I could find)!

Uhhhh .... so Freeman's out this week with a concussion? Back to Ponder!
Hey Jeff Garcia says he wants to make a comeback! He's only 43! Testaverde part 2.

I daresay he would be an upgrade over anything we've got.
Freeman clearly had all those things against him as far as familiarity with the offense and his receivers, but for a guy with 60+ NFL starts under his belt, he still played horrible. He missed many easy throws badly, like balls flying consistently 5-10 feet over guys heads or 10 yards ahead of them or out of bounds. The one nice pass he threw which should have been six was dropped by the receiver.
They should have pulled him in the 3rd quarter when the game was still somehow close and winnable and it became clear he wasn't gonna settle down and improve. But instead they abandoned the run game with the MVP in the backfield (granted it nothing, too) and had him throw what has to be a Viking record 53 attempts. Who is in charge of this !$#%#!???
I was a Frazier/Ponder supporter until just recently. Now I am already looking forward to a top 5 draft pick, a new QB and a new coaching staff next year to groom him.
Only thing that still makes the division interesting is all the injuries! Street you should be happy, the Kitties have been practically handed the title!

And there's the kiss of death!
Anytime we're a sure thing is when fate steps in! I await to see what the famous 3 Greek Goddesses have in store for us!
Maybe you guys should try Sam Ponder at QB! She looks good!

Yeah, I've written off this season already, and hoping the Vikings get Johnny Manziel in the draft. Either him or Hundley should still be on the board.
As for now, I think they should just play Ponder the rest of the season... Freeman has no business being a starter anywhere, they're NOT going to make the playoffs, and they should give him one last chance to prove himself, before they dump him. It's not like he's had a whole lot of help, the offense is anemic. Losing Harvin was a huge blow, Peterson is a shadow of himself after his son was murdered, and they're not using Jennings anywhere near effectively. Who else is there? No playmakers, that's for sure.

GAHHHHHH!
They already had the stat changed to 1-55 for teams -4 in the TO department! And Dallas was 5-3 and Detroit 4-4! But wait......... Make that 2-54 with the Lions 5-3! WTF happened?!?!
MEGATRON 329 YARDS DID!
Stafford caught the D napping on a clock play at the 1/2 yard line. Why'd they even review that? Even if he didn't score he was never stopped and ran to the side and spiked it! Either way he was in!

How the heck foes a reciever get over 300 yards?
Yep, Dez is as good as Megatron.
As for the Vikings - I was also a Ponder/Frazier supporter before this year. He wasn't great last year, but he wasn't bad - and he rarely threw interceptions. But now . . . .
As for Freeman, I'd be interested in how he could do if he learned the system. He was good in TB. And he has an arm and a willingness to throw the ball down the field.
But now a top draft pick QB sure sounds like a good idea.
Trading Jared Allen would be a tough pill to swallow. Better get a lot if they do it.

This will be interesting Megatron was 20th in Receiving yards so far this year and now should be 1st! I don't see another run at 2000 yards this year but he just made an average season look special again! Better shot at that then AD and his 2500 yard goal. (ouch)
You couldn't help the Lions out with a Home win? Tanks fur nuttin'!
This just in: Matt Stafford revealed he thought he was in for sure. And when the play developed he saw a chance at signaled the Center Raiola. He knew it was time to finally unleash his supreme vertical for the Lions!

Another disgusting dismantling on national TV for the purple... Don't know if I've seen their defense this bad in many a year. Ponder looked lost as ever. I'd have NO problem trading away Jared Allen at this point for a draft pick or a young QB prospect. What's to lose?? Season: over.
