Several weeks ago, we reported the first time (for us) that a 15-witter had learned six skills in a fight.

We now report our slightly better record - 14-witter (bumped to 15) learning 6 skills. A striker learning - Dec, Dec, Att, Att, Att, init

We were surprised!

Congratulations. I am so jealous. How do you guys get this kind of bonuses? All of my high wit warriors are lucky to get one skill a turn. I admire your skills at the game, sir. Very Happy

I resemble this remark! I'm also wondering about the secret to so many skill learns. Is it mearly "luck" or something else?

I guess if you run enough fighters, your odds are much greater. Then the opponent's style and experience may also be a factor.

It's pretty much accepted that a more experienced fighter will give you a better chance at learning, but most believe that's due to the other guy having more skills than you. Longer fights are supposed to give more skill learns too. There's certainly a generous helping of luck and randomness as well.
I don't recall ever getting 6 learns in a fight, but I did just get 5 skills, two turns in a row, out of a 15WT guy.

No sooner did I say something like that, and now I have to retract it. I just got 6 skill learns from a 13 WT WoS! Of course 4 of 'em were Dec, but anyway...

On a side note, I also just got mini-overviews for a tourney due date that is 2 days away lol...

Gratz on the skill learns! I think my fighters teach more than they learn. Maybe by saying that, I'll have a six-learner next turn! I can dream anyway.

Buri, you owe us! Without having started this discussion, you would never have received the sixer!
