Good to see the large KC Area connection here at The Tempe Face as next-door table-mates. We KC area and former KC area gamers occupy the largest population and lobby at The Face. (By far he best looking group, too.)

This seems like as good as any place to post my tournament results.

The numbers:
- 60 entries
- 12 LU, 12 ST, 9 AB, 6 SL, 6 TP, 5 BA, 5 WS, 2 PL, 2 PR, 1 PS
- 2 Primus, 1 Contender, 2 Eligible, 2 ADM, 7 Freshmen, 1 Challenger, 1 Champion, 7 Adepts, 10 Initiates, 11 Apprentices, 16 Rookies
- 5 awards (1 TC, 2 RU, 2 TV) + 1 dead in the run-offs
- 1 kill (a stand-in) and an astounding 8 deaths!
- Overall record 239-169-1-8.

This was a quick trip for me due to a family vacation the week before. I took an early morning flight from Newark on Saturday morning and missed the first 4 rounds of the tourney. Luckily, Assur was able to babysit my TC hopeful in Eligibles for those rounds and the warrior was handed over to me with a flawless 4-0 record. Thanks, Mikey!

Aside from the obvious high point of winning a TC in Eligibles with my AB, Snake Oil Salesman, this tournament contained a number of firsts for me. Sushi Slinger picked up his last CN train in the Primus class and became my very first totally maxed warrior. One of my warriors made it to the Apprentices finals for the first time. Despite getting trounced by Floyd's warrior in the final fight, I was just happy to be there. Finally, I got my first ST out of the Bloodgames. Pretty fun stuff!

Some other parts of the tourney were anything but firsts. I chalked up another runner-up in Freshmen, this time to TMM. Losing to TMM and losing in the Freshmen finals are both nothing new. I'm glad I could combine my two hobbies!

It was great to see the ladies of RSI and my fellow managers, new and old. I won't rattle off any names because there were far too many! Congrats to all the winners.

I hope everyone had as good a time as I did. I'm already looking forward to April!

Aw, I can beat that.. 45 entered and I had 9 of mine killed! That's a solid 20%....

As for the rest of it, coulda gone better... I had four guys left, going into round 10, so I figured odds were that two of them would TV. Oh, hell no, they all got the worst possible match-ups: my ST gets a TP, my SL gets a ST, my PR gets an AB, and my WS gets another AB! So they all finished 7-3-0.
Did OK in the crapmaster, 10-9-0 overall, I think that was 3rd place. I've had a winning record in every Crapmaster contest so far!
Out of the 9 deaths, I received 8 Crapmaster quality rollups, but the 9th one was an absolute gem (4-12-7-16-12-4-15), my consolation prize!

Barely had a chance to look into our results as three days of golf have gotten in the way. Only 3 TVs. 7 killed. 54 sent. Appx 56% W/L. Weak showing. Won the Crapgiver Award and got squeaked out of retaining the Crapmaster Title. (Manager deserved it with the very first TV - an ungly, crapworthy aimer. Heck of a management job!)

The golf? I am more certain of the resultants. 5 Rounds - Mannequin 4, Consortium 1.

Weak showings all around. Must be getting old.

Great time was had by all.
