Regular arena, First thought:
11-8-14-17-17-6-11 LU/SL/BA

second thought:
15-8-14-17-17-6-7 BA projected Great damage & good end

Like it but I tend to like both the DEF skills that come early in SP, with a LU, so I think I'd go 10 ST 7 SP to start and burn the ST then not taking the 7 SP or burning the DEF (and RIP) skill.

10-8-14-13-13-5-7 -----> 10-8-14-17-17-7-11 LU

10-8-14-13-13-5-7 -----> 11-8-14-17-17-6-11 SL

10-8-14-13-13-5-7 -----> 13-8-14-17-17-8-7 BA -R+ comes at 12 ST, can't be bonused in DEC, and sometimes it comes 3rd in line for learns, so I'll take 10 DEC 8 ATT over 9 DEC 9 ATT

Our four "thinkings" would be as follows and we would select one:
11-8-14-17-17-10-7 SL
11-8-14-17-17-6-11 SL
11-9-14-17-17-5-11 LU
10-8-14-19-19-5-9 crispy burner LU

My first thought was the 17-17-x-11 design as one of the stronger Hybrid styles. (L/WOS/TP/PL)

After seeing Consortium's burner design, though, I'm not as convinced.

Consortium got to it before me... I would burn this one crispy.

The 19-19 is probably the way I would go but I might try: 10-8-14-15-19-5-13

Burn to 11-10-14-17-21-7-15

I would go with one of the 17-17 designs.

My first preference would be Buri's BA. I've had good luck with 17-17 BAs TVing Apprentices.

My second choice would be Consortium's 7 DF SL.

My third choice would be Buri's LU.

Yea he said regular arena so went with something that I thought would do well over the long run in the arena.

10-8-14-19-19-5-9 crispy burner LU

Which four of you made each thinking is now the question!

That Krispy Kreme LU looks interesting! A faux 21/21 9 DF looks awesome, it would just be hard (thought wise) to use a minimum of 6 turns, with a 19 to 21 WT warrior, on training stats.

Kind of a good example how thought patterns can be deceiving in this game if you look at it closer. You'd expect to learn between 12 and 18 skills in those 6 turns as an average; give or take. If it took you the perfect 6 turns to burn it you gain 23 skills broken down as follows: 2 INI, 3 RIP, 6 ATT, 4 PAR, 6 DEF, 2 DEC.

Depending on style those learns may look better or worse but it's hardly likely that any of the styles you might choose would see those as poor learns; even a ST or BA would take 6 ATT over a 6 turn run even if you only got 2 DEC like you do. As long as your goal is simply basic arena and not long term, short of Primus where those 6 burnt ATT come back to you.

I would think a LU would drool over 6 DEF, 6 ATT, and 2 DEC in 6 turns, maybe 8 as a likelihood!

I feel like Rodney Dangerfield... I get no respect I tell ya'!

That was my SL design before Consortium yet he gets the credit? How is this fair ... I guess I took it from Buri anyways so! Laughing

Here's another option I thought of:

10-8-14-13-13-5-7 -----> 10-13-14-13-19-5-10 OTP burnt to 11-15+-14-13-21-5-11 starts with 7 PAR and with DF burnt first turn jumps to 9 PAR. Takes "a lot of damage" has positive ATT before burning begins and a 13 WT that can always be burnt to 15 for good quick learns (unlike a brick TP) since longer fights make for more learns, in general.

At it's key burn points DF/WL you can have 11 PAR by the 3rd or 4th fight. So the lower CN is misleading as the PAR skills you pile up mean more in many cases. How many 40 FE bricks are still not rated in PAR? Those that are can have all the CN in the world they still only have 1 way to win, exhaustion! This guy can hit you as a brick, an offensive, or a hybrid! Graduated an 8 CN TP, out of arena 47, with a 21-16-0 record.

Sorry, but I liked Consortium's 11-8-14-17-17-10-7 SL, not that one with too little SP and too much DF!

Some people see a conspiracy in every corner. (Perhaps it is a Detroit thing?)

Just another burner suggestion, I thought about:

10-8-14-19-17-5-11 SL/LU, burn the WT and bump ST to 11, pretty nice.

A surprising amount of options for this guy. Good luck with the choice!

Agreed. A very nice alternative.

I'm gonna go with one of the burners, either Consortium's or Stik's, I haven't decided yet (I have until tomorrow morning). Thanks for the inputs! What tipped the scales is, my last 2 burner projects turned out good, so I'll try another:

8-9-15-16-16-3-16 SL > 9-9-15-17-17-3-17 graduated 15-5-0
6-3-14-20-20-11-10 ST > 7-3-14-21-21-11-11 prepping for Apps
