Lunger, PL, PS would seem to be best suited. He will be for Arena & Tourneys. Any other ideas out there? I'm not likely to go burner, I save those for the "almost" rollups.

I don't see too many other terribly viable designs, unless you do decide to go with some type of burner. Your #3 is the safest choice but not special at all, #1 as LU is likely what I would go with, also safe but dancing with little damage of course...#2 I would make a SL if the WT/WL were reversed, I've found the 7 DF SL to be a frustrating beast unless you've got that 21 WT going.
Something burner-crazy would be 14-9-3-20-17-14-7 BA. Burn it early or later with the ST/WT. The size 3 is a hinderance for the bigger weapons of course but WH works very well regardless. I've never pulled the trigger on the high WT basher yet, it could be fun!
In any case, you are very lucky to have this "problem!" Good luck with it!

Burner-crazy? Pretty sure that looks like:
11-9-3-14-17-10-6 -> 12-9-3-20-20-10-10 (putting the last point on Strength to maximize the chance for normal damage (3 chances at 12 str, 13 str, and 14 str). And you can burn right off the bat or save it for a HUGE bust much later on.
Personally, I'd probably take the risky #1 design (possibly going 12 str/10 con - for the same reason I mention on my burner - max chances at normal damage without burning skills)

The first design is the Vengeance design and a very solid one. The only other design I would consider is your 2nd version of it. Grate on a very nice warrior! I'd go SL or LU probably.

With burners off the table, we are not sure there are better choices than those you chose. We would love to try #2 as a SL and#1 as a PL. We would stay with #1 and #2,considering #3 a lesser.

This was a team replacement, 2nd replacement for the nice Striker Manager killed at the F2F.

I shouldn't have said "burner-crazy" cause it's definitely not as crispy as you could make it with the 20/20. Honestly that design would be very tempting for me, the bustout would be HUGE. Assur have you made bashers similar to the one I suggested? If so how did they fare?

Somewhere along the way I pretty much stopped making bashers lower than size 7. I wouldn't condemn anyone for doing it and there are more than a few that have succeeded at various levels.
The reasons I limit my bashers to size 7 or greater:
1) Damage. Bashers really need good or better damage at the start and for those silly/stupid enough to run them past graduation, tremendous is just not very exciting.
2) Weapon selection. The size 9 weapons are nice. I view QS as the best overall weapon in basic. GS the best in ADM. ML is beautiful given the requirements. (And yes, I'll use those weapons with size 7/
3) As much as I completely love bashers, I do enjoy running the other 9 styles. By using the size 3-6 setups on the other styles, I get to run those styles (and while it is funny to joke about me making every single size 7-21 guy a basher, that isn't true. I roll a ton of bashers, yes, but I've also become more picky in what I require bashers to have, even before I start to roll them...)
As far as your setup in particular:
1) Beautiful overall skills, with an effective 21/17 wit/will.
2) Assuming he avoids little damage (which most of the time he will between the starting roll and the train to 15 - or 16 if needed), the overall physicals are just fine (G/N). I still don't like the normal damage, but you have no choice and I've had successes with normal damage (though more failures than successes)
3) I hate his weapon selection. If he is one of the few bashers that doesn't like WH, you may have trouble. That said, WH is a fantastic weapon in basic and most bashers don't hate it.
My small basher grads:
13-9-6-17-15-13-11 B (graduated 15-7-1, rolled N/N, no tourneys)
11-21-6-11-15-9-11 B (graduated 21-17-0, rolled G/N, only tourney was 6-3 adepts)
13-10-3-15-21-13-9 B (graduated 19-9-1, rolled G/N, only tourneys 1-3 apprentices, 2-3 freshmen)
11-9-6-21-12-14-11 B (graduated 17-8-0, rolled N/L, improved to Normal damage with one str train, best tourney was 4-3 adepts)

That should read fantastic bashing weapon. (bashing weapons by definition are not fantastic)

Thanks for the replies. At this point, I'm inclined to go with design #2 as a SL. The idea of guaranteed good damage and great endurance is too hard to pass up. I can't handle another VL damage!
I've had Lungers like #1, and they can be frustrating... I had one years ago that was 13-4-4-17-21-10-15 with +10 overall bonuses, normal damage, and 83 base, ran him all the way to Primus, and got nothing to show for it. Not even a single TV.
