These can/may all be spoilers for another reader.

Here are my top prospects for the mail-in:

Respectable Long Shots

CAPTURED PORK (Freshmen)
Take 1 Striker, season with ST and CN trains until Awesome damage and cannot take a lot, quickly sear the untouched 21 WT and then simmer the untouched 11 DF for the remainder of the tourney. CAPTURED PORK is going into the tourney with 160 total skills and should cap out at 175 +/- 5, depending on how well his training goes. He has nice favorites and has looked great in Home Guard. He has a reasonable shot at winning, I think, but there are likely to be a handful of other warriors at least as good as him in the field.

HAM BURGLAR (Contenders)
Former Bloodgames TV, ADM TC, and Eligibles TC Aimed Blow, he has struggled to hit his stride in Contenders. He has maxed physicals, skills in the 280s, super bonuses (+5 Att/+4 Par/+4 Def), weak favorite weapon, and is cursed with a bad favorite learn that had him learn the full 120 to max Defense in regular ADM. Instead of entering Contenders for the next several years going anywhere from 3-3 to 7-3, I decided to go for it with a gateway skill bust. He'll have a nice wingman in the form of a SZ 19 Lunger named SHEWISH WHALER (former Eligibles TC and 9-3 Contender from January) and I've certainly done well in this class with worse warriors. It'll be an uphill battle vs the Fist favorites, the max damaged, and the unnatural rhythm'd, though.

Slim to None

BAKED CONVINCIA (Eligibles)
This former Bloodgames TV and Freshmen RU Wall of Steel has been close before, but he'd have to get really lucky to make it into the Eligibles finals. He is at a style disadvantage and has a limited bust. He picked up 8 gateway skills before the service disruption (to go from 209 to 217) and got a challenge off against Villiage Idiot in Primus this past turn, garnering who knows how many extra skills. All he can hope for during the tourney itself is 4 additional skills. Any reasonable bust-out should surpass him by the run-offs, if not before. But you never know, right?

HEADSMAN (Champions)
IOTA DRACONIS (Champions)
CORSAIR (Adepts)
These three basic warriors will be running on favorites (for the most part), which has had an erratic impact for me in the past, but has occasionally been a huge plus. HEADSMAN and IOTA DRACONIS are both graduating Champs, so get favorites knowledge with an immortality kicker. HEADSMAN, a SZ 21 Slasher, gets to use all of his favorites at one point or another during his fights (despite lacking 8 DF for the SC!), while IOTA DRACONIS, a 21-21 Wall of Steel, is limited to just using his favorite rhythm. CORSAIR, meanwhile, is a more traditional tourney Striker and learned his favorites through a prize in the Slaughter Contest in DM 28. He gets to use his favorite weapon and favorite tactic together. All three could very easily end up in the B.A.D.D. tournies, but the favorite knowledge wildcard has me eager to see their results.

I busted two guys, one in Freshmen and one in Eligibles.

Freshmen
Death Curtains, Bloodgamer WS. Going in as 25-25-3-13(2)-21-3-11.
I would've liked a third turn to get another train for him, but he's in the same boat as everyone else.

Eligibles
Bob's Tofu, LU. Going in as 25-15(10)-11-20(3)-20(3)-7(3)-21(6).
He "busted" by getting Deftness to 21 and then learning skills for one turn. He really could've used a third turn to bust...stop me if you've heard this one before...
The goal with him will be to get those 4th Wit and Will trains along the way. If he fails to get them, I don't like his odds.

wow Oab and TMM those are impressive! Striker setup that well in freshman is interesting.

For me I dropped most of my AD entries as I will just work to develop them in arena.

My only real hopes are long shots I guess.

I have a lunger in Champs with a shot

He is a three time TV and looks like this

11 (2) 8(1) 8 21 21 7 11 142 Skills with only 2 parry learned. Would like to have a 150 skills going in but his pattern of learning is solid.

Then there is this slasher in inits. I am not a big fan of slashers but this one has done all the things you want them to do. He learns Dec and Att looks like

12 7 7 21 17 13 7 with 89 skills does great dmg

besides those two i have several guys just developing and a studly looking rookies crew but I won't bore you with those as no one ever knows how their rookies will ever do.

My ADM bust (and I'm pleased to see I'm the only bust in ADM announced so far) is:

Homestar 16(7)-16(7)-13-21(4)-22(1)-5(1)-11 PL at tourney time. Great/great, +10 in overall bonuses including +4 rip/def. Because he's a PL he's only got a slim chance of doing something. But I'm hopeful given the presumably thin field.

He is a aimed blow with ST=4 CN=12 SZ=7 WT=21 WL=15 SP=4 DF=21.
He is right handed, is a genius, is active, can carry very little weight, is incredibly
quick and elusive, has an Expert in initiative, has an Advanced Expert in riposte, has an
Advanced Master in attack, has a Master in parry, has a Master in defense, and has an
Advanced Expert in decisiveness.
Total skills: 15/24/37/28/26/21

It's done but I'll be working on wrapup for a bit here, then trying to get it to start printing.
2001 warriors, largest and longest was rookies (20 turns). Smallest was Eligibles and shortest were Primus, Eligibles, and Freshmen.

Sent about half of my normal load for this tourney. Lost timing for NOFTF so I chose to move quite a few to that roster. Here are a couple I am looking forward to.

Rookies
He is a parry-lunge with ST=12 CN=12 SZ=12 WT=12 WL=12 SP=12 DF=12.
He is left handed, is very quick on his feet, and does good damage.

If you lose to this guy you will be publicly mocked! I'm expecting a 1-3 (there's always one unlucky SOB out there) but the more wins the more mocking and the merrier we will all be! He's also part of a larger goal, TVing with a PL finally. He's the least likely of the 5 rookie PLs I am entering.

Challengers (50 FE)
He is a lunger with ST=13(2) CN=9(2) SZ=11 WT=21 WL=17 SP=6 DF=11.
He is right handed, is a genius, is active, is slightly uncoordinated, has a good endurance, is incredibly quick and
elusive, does good damage, has a Master in initiative, has an Advanced Expert in riposte,
has an Advanced Master in attack, has a Master in defense, and has a Master in decisiveness.

Kinda hoping to TV with that one. Would complete at least a TV in all basic classes for me, Rookies through Challengers (including Novices).

We've run and mailed about half of the HW games so far. Scrambling right now to get tourney out, then I'll get FR finished and all will be well! All FedExes were printed as of about 1am this morning and now we just have to print the rest and I have to make the newsletter
