The Turn 693 Primus newsletter was very kind to my King of Primus team. My two warriors already in the newsletter posted up-challenges and won. My three warriors coming back into the arena either won, or lost to a higher ranked opponent for no loss of ranking.
If the contest began today, my team would have an average rank of 51:
20) GOLDENBEARD 21-6202
44) BLIND BARBER 82-42371
60) AXE MURDERER 82-51085
64) SUSHI SLINGER 96-1399
67) ROYAL PRETENDER 82-33733 *
I'm going to sit out the entire team next turn to lock in their favorable rankings (minus the inevitable slippage when other managers reactivate their warriors above me in the rankings).

I'll be taking a pass on this... while I can field a respectable team on my own, I don't want to put the time, effort, and most importantly, money into it. The Primus game has greatly discouraged me over the years, with its insurmountable wall of potion-enhanced maxed fighters. If I'd poured lots and lots of money into Primus, I could have guys in the top tier too, but it's just not worth it for me. |

Just because the Primus tourney class is out of reach for most natural warriors, doesn't mean that arena success or the King of Primus contest is. I would wager that five natural maxed warriors would compete quite well in the contest.
