The ADM freeze occurred on September 17. Electronic minis are available upon request if you email Sandy or Lee.
The tourney date is October 29. A reminder to returning managers: there is no basic freeze. Warriors in basic are classed based on their FE at the time of the tournament.
The prize is still unknown. It will almost definitely be something other than Res/Immortality, which was offered last fall. Will it be Young Frank? Will it be Zombie? Will it be something exciting and new? Stay tuned!

The prize is one Zombie potion. "They will be given one Zombie Potion, which allows them to choose any of their dead warriors and resurrect it as a zombie! Zombies are not known for their intelligence (-4 Wit) but they have enhanced Strength (+2), Will (+2), Attack skills (+2 to base), the maximum damage ability for its attributes (in perpetuity), and can use both arms (and legs) equally well!"

the maximum damage ability for its attributes (in perpetuity)
What does this mean? Is it Max damage as the the max damage prize is?

The warrior is resurrected, adjusted to +2 ST, -4 WT, and +2 WL, and given +2 Att, ambi (including the corresponding +1 Att), and max damage (as the max damage prize works).
It can't be used on warriors where the +2 ST, -4 WT, or +2 WL will cause an attribute to go above 21 or below 3.
Last time, Zombies were also made immortal. That might be the case this time as well, as it was mentioned in neither tourney announcement, but we can't say for certain until Lee implements it.

Do you have a different skill base with the -4 to wit?

The warrior's skill base is adjusted to fit his new starting attributes.

Having received my final Rookie overview, I should be able to get my tourney strategies out in tomorrow's mail.
Total entrants: 100
By style: 26 AB, 14 ST, 11 LU, and 7 of each of the remaining styles
By class: 5 Primus, 5 Contenders, 2 Eligibles, 4 ADM, 3 Freshmen, 1 Challenger, 3 Champions, 5 Adepts, 8 Initiates, 13 Apprentices, 40 Rookies, 0 Dead Challengers, 2 Dead Champions, 6 Dead Adepts, 1 Dead Initiate, and 2 Dead Apprentices
I think the Zombie prize is a fun one, but mostly I am just hoping to have a good performance to redeem my year. I'll have bust-outs in Eligibles, ADM, and Freshmen, along with some hopefuls sprinkled among the various classes. No truly dominant warriors, but I rarely have those. Hopefully it'll be enough.
Good luck to everyone in the upcoming tourney!

Consortium synopsis ...
Sent them in in late Sept.
12 Live, 15 Dead
all styles
most dead I have ever sent
all "live" are from active running teams
none from ADM classes (as usual nowadays for us)
fewest TPs ever for a tournament
