Hi all, it's great to see so many old faces (as if there are actually new ones).
Quick recap on myself.
- 1984: Played D2 for three years back when it launched (my Reignbo Warrior was the first guy to kill a Dark Arena Spymaster)
- 2006: Returned about 20 years later. Not sure of the exact year. Solicited insights from many of the veteran players and created a whole bunch of insightful forum sections for new and returning players, such as the Dueltorial (a glossary of D2 terms). Also launched the short-lived Bashers-only arena (The Stomping Grounds)
- 2020: Just sent in turn sheets for one of my old teams. Funny enough, I had to review the section I had written in the past for new and returning players to remind myself how to play (it felt like an episode of Dark).
In any case, I am glad to see some familiar names and I might get a new roll-up and request some suggestions. Hope you are all doing well amid the pandemics, protests, and what I can only assume will be a wave of locusts next.
