My first three thoughts are:

15-6-12-21-9-14-7 BA/ST

17-6-12-21-9-14-5 BA

17-6-12-21-10-13-5 BA

Your thoughts?

15-6-12-21-9-14-7 ST looks right to me.

The problem with the BA designs, is that BA is a worse style than ST and they burn endurance faster, so they'll have problems with the likely Poor endurance. There are moments to make a BA, but this isn't one of them for me.

That ST design will make a fine arena warrior and could roll well enough to see tournaments, if it reveals +4 Dec on the overview with an Expert, if it comes back with lucky physicals, ambidexterity, or other odd bonuses like Ini or Def. Plus, with the Striking style's natural ability to learn what it needs, it could end up tourney caliber by Initiates or Adepts even if it isn't Rookie tourney caliber at the start.

15-6-12-21-9-14-7 BA/ST

I would agree this set of numbers looks great to me. Definitely a better ceiling as a striker but you get the better attack base with basher, and how often do you get to make a viable 21 WT basher? Could be fun.

I, too, go with #1 ST.

I think it depends on what your goals are. What gives me pause about your design as a ST is that he starts 5 ATT. No bueno for me.

This may be one of those rollups where a 21 WT, though achievable, is not your best option.

17-6-12-17-9-14-11 gets you -R+ on damage, poor endurance mode. A ST starts 12 DEC / 7 ATT whereas a BA starts 11 DEC / 11 ATT. Prolly how I would go, as much as it pains me to give up the 21 WT.

While I cannot disagree with Vlad's assessment, and the striker's sometimes lack-of-desirable amount of attack, I still recommend the 21 WT striker in anticipation of the "extra wit" adding skills, maybe even attack skills, faster than the 17 WT.

On the other hand, this example is why it is correct to say, there is not only one good design for a rollup.
