I would like to ask if someone can help me get a better understanding of how to determine LUCK, and skill HOSING or BONUSING from just the initial stat sheet -
I will generate a Warrior 'pre-sheet' from Terrablood, using Bagman II and get the expected/anticipated overview.
I can look at the number of skills acquired, I can compare those values against the WIT statements (if there is a corresponding statement for that that skill) -
I can look at the physicals and compare what was rolled up against the Terrablood sheet - if the physical matches the TB sheet it would be MODE, if the physical attribute is less (HOSED) or more (BONUSED) - even if my warrior rolls up the physical attribute that has the lesser percentage I am assuming +/- depending.
But I am having trouble evaluating + or - for skill levels - I use the WIT statement if it is there - High side or Low side - and the TB value is usually in that range based on the data.
Can you tell +/- or LUCK at this point? Is there some black magic that occurs, some experiential clairevoyance happening? Or do you simply need to wait to acquire skills and see when you hit EXPERT and count backwards to know if that particular skill level was +/-?
Thanks all - appreciate everyone's help so far. It has been an awesome return!

I think you are calling "luck" what most folks now would call "knack" and define as the ability to do better than might reasonably expected. Winning close fights, pulling out wins that seem far fetched, doing consistently well in tourney play, etc. To my knowledge, there is no crystal ball here and no way to confirm. It's just observational. People often leverage the clone prize to clone warriors that seem to have knack. Great example would be Daydream Believer, Mannequin's PR, who won a ridiculous amount of tournaments. Since we all know that couldn't solely be the result of Manne's skill as a manager, it is presumed the warrior is knacky. He was cloned a ton of times before limits were placed on how many times an individual warrior could be cloned.
"Or do you simply need to wait to acquire skills and see when you hit EXPERT and count backwards to know if that particular skill level was +/-?"
In terms of bonus / hosing, it's mostly this in my experience. People will often design warriors specifically so they will see a certain amount of bonus (or hosing) upon viewing the overview and run them if they see it, or retire them if they don't. For example, I often design my WSs with the goal of them starting with 10 or more ATT and PAR. PAR often comes in around 8 skills or so when mode, so I am looking for the higher 10+ PAR wit statement, as you've mentioned. Or I often design a SL to land at 12 or more DEC (or ATT or INI) to see if he rolls expert. Otherwise, you are counting skills until you see the next rating.
