Youngblood,
I have no hard feelings toward you.. The contest is a good idea. It will work the next time. So try it again sometime. Things got a little messed up and that cause more... Snowball effect. Dont sweat the small stuff. I'm sure that this isnt the first contest that got a little screwed up.

I TV'd in the champions with my P/R and the kicker is RSI didnt put me in any armor. I was 9-1 (one loss to floyd, i think thats right, warrior was sneaker pimp?) what could i have done with a little armor? So even RSI makes mistakes.
you're ok with me!

You better enjoy that TV while you can, bud.

Good contests are not easy to run. At this stage in DM you have to be extremely creative to bring in a large showing for contests. This idea was fantastic but the simple fact is that it was poorly managed. You can overcome management issues and experience is the first tool you need to overcome those issues. The next 3 and Out will be much better simply because that's the law of natural progression. You should sweat the small stuff but make sure your focused energy results in a solution to the problem. That's the hardest part of running an elaborate/entertaining contest, having the foresight to recognize possible issues and having the ability to implement the proper resolution.

Just remember this simple fact: People are still participating so that must mean that people are still enjoying it. I'm certain that was your overall goal and so far you have achieved what you set out to accomplish. To echo The Consortium, I've seen much worse in my day and kudos to you for sticking to your contest and seeing it through despite the difficulties.

And sometimes, crap happens. After running Zalgor 1 and Zalgor 2 like a well-oiled machine, Zalgor 3 was pretty much a disaster. The automated scoring that was supposed to happen didn't pan out and the scoring was so convoluted that it was extremely difficult to score by hand. Because of this there were numerous mistakes, no one knew exactly where they stood. You'd do your turn thinking your warrior was in 8th, only to find out 2 days later you were really in 14th.

The worst contest I've ever been in was the "Kontest" in DM 31. We're still waiting for the other half of our prizes from that debacle.

Youngblood, could you please sent Sandy/RSI the list of uneliminated warriors and make sure that NO ONE ELSE RUNS after they've been eliminated? Troy's loss this turn should not be counted as the warrior he lost to is already out. Is Funky Folk's manager online at all?

Ok this is ridiculous. Jen Aside, who has now been eliminated *twice*, has now just *killed* Intrepid. Battlestations' manager is probably going to be super pissed when he finds out. Now this contest is officially a shambles. Whoever runs Funky Folk is either totally oblivious to the contest/rulings/rules or a major jerk.
