This looks like a lot of fun.
Do you need to have one of those 'transfer' teams available to move into the Arena in order to play, or are you using an existing team?
I also have a feeling that being so early in my return, I would be disadvantaged maybe? Maybe not?

Would have to have a team in 47. New teams can be started quickly. Under certain conditions a team can be transferred there. sure, experienced players are likely to have some advantage, but luck, helpful teammates, and a friendly player base all help even the conditions. Players dedicated to fighting all 5 fights for ten straight months are valued. (missing a fight definitely hurts your team and your alliances score,)
