Welcome, Roma! Hope you stick around awhile.
You'll find there's a large and enthusiastic player base, and most of us are willing to help out and get you up to speed. Chatzy is a great place to ask questions, share designs and such, and Arena 93 is the best place to start your team; mentors are available there and you can get a feel for the game before diving into the proverbial deep end. I give The Consortium a lot of grief, but he really is a world-class mentor and Assur doesn't suck at the game.

YES! The place to start is DM93. Make sure to let RSI know you are a "newbie" and also ask for their C.I.C. packet which will be helpful. Gladly you will get answers to your questions in the DM93 NL - or via Chatzy. The whole D2 world of managers is very friendly and helpful to newbies.
