4-1 for the Cult. We said goodbye to Meda! ST=11(1) CN=10 SZ=10 WT=21 WL=15 SP=5 DF=13 Par fav learn! -4 Dec!
Glad I could help on your ugly 3-2 turn Vanek! Easy win attempt thwarted by Word Thief! Thanks for the rating!
Should be back to a full squad in a turn.

If there is such a thing as an ugly 3-2 turn, then we just had one. 2 losses were on my challenges that I thought would be pretty easy wins. 2 of my wins were such that I am lucky I won them. And finally, my learns were pretty bad overall. I guess I should just be happy that I had a winning turn. Hopefully next turn will produce better results (and learns!)

Hhhhmmmm... A 0-5 was inevitable (eventually) but at least nobody died. Hopefully there were some worthwhile learns. And that's about all I have to say now for a turn I haven't received yet.
As for the apology -- Darque, you little white-faced fiend, don't worry your pointy little ears about it. Things happen. Now I have to look back and reread that newsletter to remind myself about what happened in your last episode. I remember thinking that I was looking forward to the next installment... now, there's no pressure here, but please do make it worth the wait.
I, too, had an idea for a spotlight. I should have written, edited, and submitted it by now. However, I have been sick the past few weeks -- just starting to get better. I've put off all sorts of stuff. Now I have a table half-full of kids' work that I need to grade before Thanksgiving. Normally I would waffle a bit, but I'm thinking that I should probably get that out of the way BEFORE I start my spotlight. I will try to get it done before the next turn, and hopefully it will be at least half as entertaining as one of your efforts.

Where's my individual apology??
Well I went 5-0 two turns ago, 0-5 last turn, and then another 5-0 this turn. Crazy. Although this turns 5-0 was meh, as I fought 3 stand-ins. Well, 2 stand-ins and a Warmasters guy.
I'm sorry you haven't gotten Elephant or Pauly back into 81 yet. How was that?

Well, I will help get this one started with an apology. First to the whole arena and then individually to Arcane Kid.
To the whole arena: I promised some more SYP's after Turn 150. As of yet, you have seen nothing. I did write one for T151, but HAL ate it and it didn't post. I thought I resubmitted it for T152, but once again it didn't post. I know for a fact I did not submit it for 153--I just forgot. I will resubmit again and hopefully have a few turns of them waiting in the wings for the turns to come.
To Arcane Kid: I have a spotlight written. You can read above for the progression of events as they apply to the story line I'm writing as well. I will resubmit this time and hopefully stay ahead.
On a more positive note, I went 3-2 and Tamerlane won his exit fight. I hope the new RU is at least runnable because the replacement pool in this arena has sucked far more than it has blessed these past few years.
