I remember this but it wasn't called Nerfed back them. There was a fight between two TP scum in a mail in tourney. the fight went on for an insane length of times. I think around 76 minutes. Maybe a less. I knew it was long. The TPs stood there in plate armour while holding two large shields. No one attacked. I think the guy who won had it called by the arena master.

Then, you have missed the max-out 32, 000+ minute fights, all of which have been decided by damage. (We Consortiumites have five of 'em.)

The "nerf" that occurred happened many many years ago (2 decades+). It was when they introduced the ability for attacks to "slip" by parries. Before this there were so many with 15-0 to 40-6 type TPs running around. The nerf hit any warrior who parries but the TPs, who rely on it far more, were hit, or "nerfed", the worst.

It's a popular term that I think originated with MMORPGs, like World of Warcraft. It means to weaken, like how nerf versions of things are softer, or weaker.

I was reading through some older posts and there were a lot of mentions of the TP style being "nerfed". What does that mean?
