I started during highschool back in '86-'87 in Monuntial, DM34, with four friends.
left the game for several years and just came back about six months ago.

I don't know; I was a guest at his wedding in October 2001 in Penticton, British Columbia. He married a Canadian girl who was teaching in Korea. Never heard from him after that....

yeah. the good old days. we went to highschool together. started at the same time in monuntial. he had a team called Lord of Discipline, i had Apathy Inc. and then Raging Blades.
a couple of the other guys we went to school with ran teams called the Celestials and The Outlaws. they are all inactive, haven't played in years. i'd like to get Jules back into the game, but he is currently living in South Korea, so i kind of doubt he'll go for it.

Prepping for the FTF is eating up all of my DM budget. A significant number of my teams are in 82. I am running in 52, 59, 78, and will be running the last turn before the FTF in 31 also.

43 here and still feel young, I just don't look it hahaha. I wish my guys would fight like I feel instead of how I look.
I'm still in fairly decent shape (like a pear ). Seriously though, I still play basketball at LA Fitness 2 to 3 times a week, lift 3 times a week and cardio the rest. My problem is all of the @#$% I put my body thru in my 20's and 30's that are now coming back to haunt me (Oh my aching back!!!)
Round and Pear are definitly shapes.
So why havent I seen you fighting anywhere recently? We sure would like to have you join us for some of the good stuff down in the regualar arenas. That is where the bug got started.

I remember Raging Blades, the Celestials and the Outlaws. My first team was Living Shadows in Monuntial.
Thanks for the update on Jules' whereabouts.

I'm 40 years old and an avid runner. I just finished my first marathon in 20 years. 1990 Boston marathon unofficially 4:11, 2010 Vermont marathon 5:09. I guess old age adds an hour.

I was in the sub-30 crowd the last time this thread was active. I was also newly married and childless. Now I'm 32 with 2 kids.
Began in 1996 in Chimlevtal with a rookie team my dad gave to me. Had lots of local friends that played when I started, but I'm the only one left.
I played sporadically in undergrad school from 97-2000, but came back full-time in October of 2000. Only had one break since then when the Great Recession hit.
I still greatly enjoy the game, but I do miss many of the people that do not play anymore: The Jimbo, Conrad, Crimson Knight, Prophet, Jack Wolfspider, Dreihden, Dr. Mabuse, etc, etc. Even my two alliance mates that just went MIA in the last few years Kat and Maximillian.
I'm 33 and started playing in '91. Played until '98, I think, and was away from the game after that until last year.

First newsletter I received of Seam had the date of December 1989. I'm 33 almost 34, if I were an athlete I'd be considering retirement. Guess that would mean that Brett Favre has been thinking about this retirement stuff for at least seven years.

How bizarre that Max posts in the RU forum right after you said he's MIA. (cue twilight zone music)

Well, he has been contemplating a return, but nothing as of yet.

There is still hope but we are out of practice.
