So I was thinking that in my previous run in DM I tended to shy away from low stats instead of embracing them as a quirky character. Therefore, I spend points taking a crap stat to maybe average. And so, ended up with an average warrior, really.
I got a lot of weird rollups for this new team, but this one looked like it could be a lot of fun...
I thought:
4-9-13-15-15-11-17 AB
but I have been away for a while...
Note: I like oddball warriors and I almost never DA.

Your AB design is a good choice for the low ST warrior, as long as you can get to at least 17 DF. I might leave WL at 12 though and get ST to 7, then you're well-suited to something besides DA/FI (SH/EP), and you can use SS or SC with little penalty. 3-5 ST doesn't do it for me unless there's something else I absolutely can't pass up on, like a 17/17/21.

Getting ST up to 9 or 10 forces you to sacrifice a lot elsewhere, making it a very average warrior. If I had to I'd go 9-9-13-15-12-11-15 ST/PR, but I think a version of your AB would likely do better in the arena. Even with the low ST, just using DA/FI or SH unsuited for heavy armor can still be fun and effective if he learns well and/or shows some knack. good luck!

I take 17 will on this guy every time. I am not too fond of the 11 or 13 wit PR/AB, so if it is mine, I'd probably go:

7-9-13-15-17-11-12 SL/L While I'm not a fan of 17 will lungers, this is an exception, mainly because the style choices are slim on this one. The slasher could be good, whose career is probably dictated by learns.

About the only styles that can get away with a low ST are AB and the Parry-X styles, unless your SZ is so high that you get good damage even with a low ST.

I would think about a PS for this guy. All you need is the SH and SM. I would also make him a burner, so you can get the skills up to a decent level.

Something like:

6-11-13-15-16-11-12 >>> 7-12-13-17-17-12-13. Takes about 9 turns to finish, but he ends up with halfway decent skills and a shot at good damage. I wouldn't burn them consecutively ... save your stat trains for "if challenged" strategies and skill train for your upchallenges.

I see a striker here. You could get a winner in your arena with 7-9-13-15-17-11-12. Use a scimitar anyway. Not enough carry for a defensive style and Pikers do have less decise than Strikers anyhow. A lunger wouldn't be too bad but normal damage and normal endurance isn't the best combo for them.
A slasher would be nice and maybe better than the striker but only if he has a little bonus in decise and learns decise and attack. Then the Slasher would suffer even more from endurance burn. As a striker he has a bit more versatility in match-ups due to the low endurance burn.

Just wanted to point out you need a 5 ST to use a DA. That said I ran a 3 ST 14 SZ 17 DF aimer to a good record using a DA anyways (funny to see does not have ST to use DA). A pretty decent shot at good damage. i'd run your design as an aimer all day!

Most sites list a single DA as str-3. If you try to wield 2 DA it is str 5. If I get the 'can wield a weapon in each hand. I will go for that with a str train.

Thanks for all the feedback. Like I noted, I am going to try out keeping a low stat in the basement.
