It SUCKED for Oz that Golden Cap was killed, and on the way to a TV as it occured! Mad Shocked Evil or Very Mad
But the rest of us were rejoicing.
It seemed as if there were more deaths than normal in the late rounds, but that just might be because I was paying attention. And DM 47 had four 7-3 warriors and Golden Cap at 7-2.
Congrats to Juneau, scoring a big 15 points for team LOL
Thanks Dark Angel and Assur! Juneau's TV actually came as a little bit of a surprise. I thought I had 2 other guys on my Turf War team that had a better chance to TV than she did.
But I was starting to get delusions of grandeur when she started off 9-0, having dreams of a TC. It was a great start, then 3 straight losses brought me back to reality real quick. But hey, I'll take that TV! Go Team LOL!
We think what Kat said was very, very inappropriate and incomplete.
We would have congratulated you on your fine showing with Juneau as the only TV in The Turf War. Then we would have suggested "Death to Juneau Dawning!"

Haha! People only hate when you do something good. If it means more TV's and Turf War wins, I don't mind being the team people love to hate
Maybe I'll be like Rex Ryan and start talking some trash

It's a done deal if you're serious.
Mannequin (who may or may not be serious)

Please note the error (now corrected) in the discussion of the scoring of tournament participation and death. The earlier thread indicated that a warrior gets 5 points for participation. That is untrue; it is 3 points. The rules were made such that a team could get plenty of points for tournament participation (hence great recognition for the North Fork arena), BUT the fear of death would be there costing more points than participating.
Per the rules
TC = 25
TV = 15
Tourney participation = 3
Death negates all at -5
(Yes, it is true that if Juneau Dawning had gone 9-3 and then was killed, his net score for that warrior would have been -5! BUT, he TV'd and lived and earns NF's only +15 pointer this tournament.)
Oz apologizes for the error in statement earlier.

Does the Champion X2 modifier affect the tourney points as well? So....for instance....lets just say that a TW declared champion were to say TV would it be 15X2 or just 15...and say another champion oh I don't know...DIES <cough><Golden Cap><cough> would it be -5X2 or just -5?
Sorry mr oz I couldn't resist

No turns yesterday and no turns today! This totally sucks since they should have been here yesterday!
I went 1-4 which totally sucks!
One of my team mates didn't fight...Again!!!
The only shinning moment is that I avenged the BF even though Chabat shouldn't lose that matchup. Sorry for the down challenge on the BF but there is no way I am going to send someone with 3 or fewer FE after Gizmo and Chabat was my lowest. I could have waited for you to get higher but I have other team mates to consider.
