Wouldn't it be crazy if Patroclus gets the DM chair? With my team w/l record? What about the bloodfeuds??

3-2-1 here with two DAs. Got the throne again. My kill was a bloodfued. I guess I'll be seeing Otto's Diner in a bloodfued title match next turn? What's the record for most kills by a warrior in the arena? If memory serves correct it was Slaughter Mouse 5 with 4 kills? SYP?
Three new recruits coming, so we'll see.
And yes Kid it would've been crazy to see Patroclus on the throne.

Sorry Capital Cartel missed the turn. He may miss another. The Face messed up the first. The travel to and stuck in backwoods Indiana may create a 2nd.
Don't worry. The Consortium is still kickin'. (Knock on wood.)
Good luck to all.
P.S. Great writing, Kid Arcane.

1-4 here. At this point i'm trying to resist the urge to just DA my entire team and then take the rest of the summer off. <sigh>

4-1 here, I will definately take it.
New guys are starting to show up finally and my PL is getting it done, from 4-5 to 12-7.

Ouch! 1-4 here, and my Bloodfeud challenge didn't go through. Holy Shitake 'viciously' beat Patroclus after 8 minutes? I hope the skills gain was worth it! Oooohhh, and what was that Bloodfeud down-challenge KILL (of epic proportions) all about?!
On top of that, I caught at least three ugly errors in my spotlight. I really need to write one weeks in advance, and just let it sit, THEN come back and edit. Otherwise I seem to just keep letting stuff slip by. I thought it'd be broken in two parts; wasn't Pauly (or Vannek) going to give us a spotlight?
STILL and all, this is the most complex and FUN arena I've found since the gladitorial 'Golden Age' of the 90's.

Ah, but I have high hopes; I've got high hopes... I've got high in the sky apple pie hopes! Don't be a dream squasher!

Wasn't trying to kill your dreams was just being real. I was pretty sure my TP fighting on his favs wasn't going to lose. My LU had 29 more points than Patroclus and I was pretty sure I was going to win my BF.
As far as the bloodfeud goes aren't most DCs? Didn't matter who I BF'd with it was going to be a big DC (pointwise and FE wise). I figured two things: 1)Send my deadlist 2)if '66 won her fight she'd be on the throne.
I was right on both accounts: got the kill and throne. Holy Shiitake is the real deal so next turn should be fun.

Bahhh I wasn't suppose to fight. I took off Maintenance and need some time. Not sure what Jorja is talkign about on Down Challenge, Meerkat vs Drachen was random.
I will be gone for a bit, be back at some point.

note to self: take mailbox key out of fiance's car before she leaves all day for her bridal shower.
Luckily she'll eventually be back today, but still...
Of course this means I'm assuming the turn showed up today, but it has come on saturday the last two times. I realize that I probably just jinxed myself.

Nothing in mail Friday or Saturday. Sure hope it comes today. Newsletter shows an encouraging 3-2 with 2 DA's.

(81-1678) (1-0-1,1 of OTTO'S DINER. Down 121, and a kill. '66 CORVETTE easily
killed HOT BROWN in a 1 minute uneven Bloodfeud Title melee. I've got an idea there
will be hard words over this.
Ok, here's my question. What would you do?

I would be pretty ticked. I know this is just a game, so I really don't take any of it personally, but I do role play it in my head and my manager personna simply wouldn't stand for this! I would do my best to challenge and beat '66 Corvette. If that simply wasn't possible or he graduated, I would return the favor of several large down challenges to his other warriors with the intent to try and score a kill of my own in retaliation. In the end, it's a game, so have fun with it. Write a few interesting personal ads and try to settle the score! Good luck to you! I'll be rooting for you!
