Good morning,
Something that's been on my mind a little of late - turn 270 of Arena 59 Illis does not have a Duelmaster, yet there are 3 challenger champions.
I had thought that the "top warrior" was automagically the DM, which would *seem* to be Lord Foul; he is tied with Appleseed on points, so perhaps that's the problem? Having said that, I have seen the DM have less points than the guy/s below him, and neither of the top two fought in the title match.
Any thoughts? Whilst I would have loved for Lord Foul to take top dog (he is my fighter after all), I am more curious as to why it ended up this way (and not upset in the slightest for what its worth).

If there are recog point ties, such as for DM, no one is awarded the title.
However, if one beats the former DM, one becomes DM no matter whether one's recog points are lower/same/higher. Likewise, if one is already DM, and wins the DM fight, one remains DM, no matter what the recog point status of the warriors.
What happened to you is "normal" and happens now and then throughout Alastari.
