Dang, is the Rush album out already? I've heard the single a few times up here, liked it a lot, but I thought the album was still forthcoming. These days it seems they always have the first single put out like 3 months in advance of release.
Adele, huh? That would explain why you've been locked in your closet with a box of tissues, weeping nonstop that last couple weeks! Seriously the CD is incredible top to bottom though, it'll be awfully hard to top. Definitely a defining album for the artist and the time.

Oh yeah.... not normally my type of music, but how great is this?
Ok Floyd, even though I vowed never to speak (write) to you again, due to my bitterness of you saying (right after I mentioned him) that you were going to see Bob Mould at a wine bar in NY... I am lifting that vow momentarily... It's nothing personal understand, it's just that Bob Mould, New York, and wine make the list of my favorite things and mashing them all together would be truly mind-blowing. (and honestly, it's a bit personal...) Does anyone know anything about the Cosmopolitan in Vegas? I'm going to see Jane's Addiction there for a beach show on the 7th and was hoping the venue is as cool as the website makes it out to be. Thanks for anyone's input -

Yes. Hombre I know about the Cosmo! I've been to lots of shows there and might even go to Jane's Addiction. I believe JA is playing at the pool. It's outside standing room or if you get there early enough you might be able to sit on the lawn chairs or something similar. It's obviously outdoors and it's along LV BLVD so the view is pretty cool. It will be warm and most of the time they have the pool covered so you can't go in it. Drinks will be $8 and up depending. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

It probably gets too much radio play, but I still like this one:

Just discovered this band. Apparently this is off their 4th album but I had never heard of them. Trending back to the 80s style of Metal we seem to be!

My apologies if I'm overdoing this but couldn't forget to announce that my favorite band of ALL-TIME has put out a live CD of their reunion show in 2008 at the Sweden Rocks Festival. Now if they would just tour so I could see them live for the first time ever.
The fans demanded it, and the fans finally got it. After 20 years apart, the long-awaited Triumph reunion (of vocalist/guitarist Rik Emmett, bassist/keyboardist Mike Levine, and vocalist/drummer Gil Moore) took place at Sweden Rock Festival, on June 7th, 2008
