Go ahead, make this guy work.

15-15-19-3-21-8-3 B

Is what came to mind. Wow, are those skills bases ugly!
Arena warrior headed to DA most likely.

NOOOOOOOOOO! First take a look at this thread http://reality.com/duel2/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=5563&start=15&sid=a203c7c318e8847fe0a1a033f4c94a21 , at the end you'll see he graduated at 30-20 and started off 17-3( started 4-3 then won 13 in a row). He faced alot of AB fights at the end accounting for many of the late losses, along with just 16 PAR skills. The RU looked quite similar 12-10-19-3-13-8-5 . I took Consortium's advice and made him a 14-16-19-3-19-8-5

10-10-19-3-17-8-3 -----> 14-16-19-3-19-8-5 TP
To make him look much like mine.

Could also go 12-16-19-3-19-8-7 but I like the 14 ST as you'll want to burn it into a 17-19-19-3-21-8-7 (gets you to the highest damage taking class) or even just burn the 2 WL and 15 ST and get 3 relatively quick PAR skills. Mine too started with just 3 PAR but fared quite well behind 2 LG or ME shields (even just lacking DF). Starts with 46 HP.

Run him until he starts losing more than he wins (first try burning up the ST to 15, then WL to 21, and some CN mixed in with skill learns before panicking if he doesn't start fast on the win track). He's easy to run also 1-1-3-x-P or mix in some LO/VL or LO/LO Parry tactics to search for it's favorite rhythm; or just when it seems to fight better.

Back me up here Consortium and school the young Nomad like you did me! Better way to design him? Did I learn the lesson well Mister Consortium or did I flunk "HUGE TP class"?

What can I say, Street, but .....
1. Obviously I agree with your advice to him
2. I am honored that my posts and teachings are sometimes absorbed by some in the DM Community.
3. Good luck with him, Nomad. He CAN win.

What would you do with this monster? Give him a warhammer and let the cards fall where they may?

This is how Job was created. One of the worst sheets I'd ever seen. I was going to send him to the DA and started trying to design a warrior that could beat a DA monster. It was then I realized just how bad he was. "This could be fun. Maybe I'll beat Talcama's previous 0-16 record..."

To try and make him win, 15-15-19-3-21-8-3 B/L/WOS/TP

To make a run at my 0-72 record, I'd recommend:
12-16-19-3-17-14-3 AB

One can do what Assur says for great fun, or one can do what Street/Consortium recommend and win. Wink

I was quite skeptical, at first, of course. When he started out 4-3 I was a bit worried where it was headed as he raised up in the ranks, even in a smaller arena. When he pulled off 13 wins in a row and stood at 17-3 I knew that type of performance wouldn't last forever but decided not to DA him at that point and let him fight his way to ADM or natural death in the arena. After all he earned it. Finishing off at 13-18 I could've given up anywhere along the way. However when a warrior earns Street Legal's (my managerial personna) respect and admiration you have to TOTALLY screw up for Street to DA you.

And to not listen to the regular arena master would've been foolish. I obviously don't have all the experience you do but his strat needed little tweaking and his last 20-25 fights were almost all on maintenance as I had little time to send in sheets with challenges.
