So I couldn't help but notice the novice group seems to be missing from the winter FTF results. I'm assuming the category has been eliminated. Does this mean freeze dates don't exist anymore? I also saw two knew areas contenders or some such thing. Can someone point me to a thread that explains these changes or possibly fill me in? |

Novices has been eliminated completely. The basic tournaments you fight in are now based on the amount of FE you have at the time the tourney runs as opposed to the freeze date.
Rookies = 0 FE as of the tourney
Apprentices = 1-4 FE
Inits = 4-10
Adepts = 11-20
Champs = 21-30
Challengers = 31+
All advanced tourneys (Freshman, ADM, Eligibles, Contenders and Primus) have warriors classified as of the freeze date. This allows for development after the freeze date and prior to the tourney date (called busting).
I hope that helps! |

perfect, thanks! I'm looking forward to the spring mail in. Shaking the rust off and feeling out the implications of the tweaks will be less noticeable! Hoping to have it together enough to make the summer FTF. |

Welcome back to the game!
Make sure you visit two websites.... The first is a Duelmaster chat room where lots of managers hang out and discuss DM in real-time (link below):
http://us5.chatzy.com/42003746228981
Also make sure you check out the Terrablood website:
www.terrablood.com
It's a virtual online DM encyclopedia.
Most importantly.... if you have any questions.... ASK!!! There are many managers who are more than willing to answer questions and provide advice.
See you on the sands. |

Just as an FYI, this site took the place of the Yahoo site. The yahoo site had way to much spam, I haven't used it in years. |

Agreed.... anything worth looking at on the Yahoo site is much more readily available on the Terrablood site or in chat. |

Hmmm I must have misunderstood. I thought I read somewhere that the tourney newsletters from tourneys past, were posted on a file in the yahoo group. Can I get them anywhere? Besides the obvious extiction of the lumger in favor of the unhittable AB in uppet levels i'm curious as to how tourney life has evolved. |
