Ok I am confused if the cut-off is base+learned/trained 134 skills how does anyone other than PS and TP (lower bases) ever qualify. I've got a lunger for example with 2 adm fights. His base+learned is 160ish, he wouldn't have qualified before he graduated. And yet he has zero chance of competing for a TV in adm! Is this correct or do I have something wrong? |

In the small arenas, you can graduate just about any style with under 130 skills.
While your 21-21 or 21-17-x-17 guys are likely to have too many skills, scummier warriors are well suited to the class. Lower skill bases, slower learning, more physicals (which don't seem to be weighted heavily in whatever formula they use).
And if your guy graduates with 160 total skills, that just means he has a bit of work to do to get set up for the ADM class (namely, learn/train about 20 more skills). |

The freshman line is around 130-135ish skills (skills only). The ADM line is around 180ish (skills/DI). You are still a little shy on the skills for ADM yet but you still have run to train. I am training up an ADM guy right now myself for my first real try at the ADM class. I had a run last year but he was classed as Freshmen on the minis but classed ADM when it came time to fight. There is still a bug in the minis somewhere that miss classes some ADM guys as Freshmen. Others will be able to give you a better answer than I but that is what I think I know |

IIRC, the line for Eligibles is around 220ish, the line for Primus is 290-295ish.
Lower for AB's.
I could be wrong, but I suspect someone will be along to correct me, if so. |

so if you had a guy with 199 skills and 19 trains 5-4-0-3-4-1-2 where would classify him? He is primus eligible as far as arena ? |

If you have a warrior with 199 skills, he will almost certainly be Eligible. This means he is eligible to move to Primus arena if he wants, or eligible to stay in normal ADM if he so chooses. This also means he will participate in the Eligibles tourney class in tournaments.
If he is an AB, he has a little bit of room to improve (5-10 skills at most) and remain in that class. If he is a non-AB, he has even more room to improve (15-20 skills) while still remaining in that class. |

Currently the "generally accepted" breakpoints for skills between advanced tourney classes are as follows:
<130 skills tend to be Freshman
<180 skills ADM
<220 skills Eligibles
<290 skills Contenders
Anything under those numbers would be "safe" (use that term loosely). That being said, there have been 135 skill Freshman, 185 skill in ADM, 225 skills in Eligilbes and 295 skills in Contenders.... but you push your guys to those levels at you own peril as they may get bumped up a class being that high..... or not. It's for each manager to choose how hard to push that threshold. |
